Sub:— Nomination of Deam of Faculty as Member
o f t h e Syndicate under Section 12 (iv) of
Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit Act
1994—Reg.
Ref :—(1) Letter Nos. GS5 676/2016 dated 4-6-2016
and 10-6-2016 received from the Deputy
Secretary to Governor, Kerala Raj Bhavan,
Thiruvananthapuram.
(2) University Laws (Amendment) Act 2012.
The Deputy Secretary to Governor, Kerala Raj
Bhavan, Thiruvananthapuram vide letters (1) referred
above, has informed that the Chancellor,
Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit, was pleased to
nominate Dr. G. Gangadharan Nair, Professor in Sanskrit
Vyakarana (Retired), Sree Sankaracharya University of
Sanskrit, Kalady-683 574 and Dean, Faculty of Sanskrit,
Grammar as on 4-6-2016 to the Syndicate of
Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit as provided
under Section 12-Nominated Members (iv) of Sree
Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit Act 1994.
Accordingly, Dr. G. Gangadharan Nair, Dean, Faculty
of Sanskrit Grammar has been included as a member of
the Syndicate of Sree Sankaracharya University of
Sanskrit from 4-6-2016. The member shall hold the office
for a period of two years from 4-6-2016 or till the tenure
of Deanship whichever is earlier subject to the provision
contained in the Act and Statutes of the University.
The same is notified for information of all concerned.
