COCHIN PORT TRUST EMPLOYEES (RECRUITMENT, SENIORITY AND PROMOTION) AMENDMENT REGULATIONS, 2016
In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 28 of the Major Port Trusts Act, 1963 (38 of 1963), the Board of Trustees of the Port of Cochin hereby makes the following regulations further to amend the Cochin Port Trust Employees (Recruitment, Seniority & Promotion) Regulations, 2010 namely:—
1. Short Title and commencement
(i) These Regulations may be called "the Cochin Port Trust Employees (Recruitment, Seniority & Promotion) Amendment Regulations, 2016 (Recruitment Rules for Class III and IV posts)".
(ii) They shall come into force on the date of publication in the State Gazette.
(iii) The Central Government has already given approval to the Board of Trustees of Port of Cochin to make Regulations in respect of class III & IV posts vide Notification dated 28-10-2010 in the Gazette of India.
(iv) This publication is made under Section 132 of the Major Port Trusts Act, 1963
2. In the schedule annexed to the Cochin Port Trust Employees (Recruitment, Seniority & Promotion) Regulations, 2010, in the Recruitment Rules for 256 posts of Class III & IV posts the following amendments are made in the following serial No.'s of the post:—
