Ref:—Letter No. F. 2-4/2013(Cm) dated 13-1-2017 from Sri B. Ravi (Narayanan, Section Officer, Chairman's Secretariat, University Grants Commission, New Delhi—Reg.
It is hereby notified that, the Chairman, University Grants Commission as per letter refered above has nominated Prof. Sanjay Deshmukh, Vice-Chancellor, University of Mumbai, M. G. Road, Fort Mumbai-400 032 as the University Grants Commission representative to the Syndicate of Cochin University of Science and Technology in accordance with the provisions under Section 17(1)(ix) of Cochin University of Science and Technology Act, 1986.
The term of office of the above person in the Syndicate of the University shall be for a period of four years with effect from 13-1-2017 as per the provisions contained in Cochin University of Science and Technology Act, 1986 and Statutes thereunder, amended from time to time.
