18. കരാർ വ്യവസ്ഥകളും നിബന്ധനകളും കൃത്യമായി പാലിക്കേ≠താണ്.

5. Two members elected by the members of the Legislative Assembly from among themselves of whom one shall be a member belonging to Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe.

Accordingly, the process of elections was completed and

the declaration of the following results are hereby made:

Whereas it is necessary to re-constitute the Management Council of the University as per Sub-section 2, (i), (ii), (iii), (iv) and (v) of Section 21, of the Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University Act 2010 (Act 3 of 2011) and hence it is hereby notified that the following elections were held according to the principle of proportional representation by means of single transferable vote and in accordance with the procedure prescribed in Chapter XXIV of the first amended statute of the University to elect:

I. As the number of the candidates validly nominated and not withdrawn did not exceed the number of vacancies to be filled up by election in respect of the constituency of the students of the University to the Management Council, the validly nominated candidate Shri. Sidharth Shankar K. M., 14-BVM-103, B.V.Sc. & A.H., 3rd Year, CVAS, Mannuthy (Electoral Roll No. 862) is declared to have been duly elected as the member to the Management Council of the University from the constituency of students.

Constituencies of the Management Council:

1. One member by regular students of the University from among themselves.

2. Three members by the Teachers of the University from among themselves.

3. One member by the Non-Teaching Staff of the University from among themselves. 4. One member by the Permanent Laboures of the II. As the number of candidates validly nominated and not withdrawn exceeded the number of vacancies to be filled up by election in respect of the constituency of Non-Teaching Staff to the Management Council, it was proceeded with election from the constituency of Non-Teaching Staff and the contesting candidates viz. Shri Vijesh, C. V., Section Officer (Hr. Gr.), CVAS Pookode (Electoral Roll No. 72), Shri Sureshbabu, P., Farm Supervisor Gr.II, UPDF Mannuthy (Electoral Roll No. 169), University from among themselves. 615 27th MARCH 2018] KERALA GAZETTE 490

Shri Sunil, K., Clerical Assistant, LRS, Thiruvazhamkunnu (Electoral Roll No. 250) secured 103, 19, 143 valid votes respectively. Shri Sunil, K., Clerical Assistant, LRS, Thiruvazhamkunnu (Electoral Roll No. 250) who has secured more number of valid votes is declared elected as Member to the Management Council from the Constituency of Non-Teaching Staff.

III. As the number of candidates validly nominated and not withdrawn exceeded the number of vacancies (3 vacancies) to be filled up by election in respect of the constituency of Teaching Staff to the Management Council, it was proceeded with election from the constituency of Teaching Staff and the contesting candidates viz. Dr. Leeba Chacko, Assistant Professor, ARG&O, CVAS, Pookode (Electoral Roll No. 24), Dr. Narayanan, M. K., Assistant Professor, Surgery, CVAS, Mannuthy (Electoral Roll No. 133), Dr. Sabin George, Assistant Professor, LPM, CVAS, Mannuthy (Electoral Roll No. 142), Dr. Girish Varma, G., Professor, Physiology, CVAS, Mannuthy (Electoral Roll No. 180) secured 79, 100, 96, 27 valid votes respectively after the completion of the final counting. Dr. Leeba Chacko, Assistant Professor, ARG&O, CVAS, Pookode (Electoral Roll No. 24), Dr. Narayanan, M. K., Assistant Professor, Surgery, CVAS, Mannuthy (Electoral Roll No. 133) & Dr. Sabin George, Assistant Professor, LPM, CVAS, Mannuthy (Electoral Roll No. 142) have secured more number of valid votes are declared elected as Members to the Management Council from the Constituency of Teaching Staff.

IV. As the number of the candidates validly nominated and not withdrawn did not exceed the number of vacancies to be filled up by election in respect of the constituency of the members of the Legislative Assembly (one shall be a Member belonging to Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe), the validly nominated candidates Smt. E. S. Bijimol (92-Peerumade), Member, Legislative Assembly, Panthalooparambil, Elappara P. O., Idukki-685 501 (Electoral Roll No. 28) & Shri O. R. Kelu (17-Mananthavady), Member, Legislative Assemb1y, Olanchery Puthenmittom, Kattikulam P. O, Wayanad-670 646 (Electoral Roll No. 53) are declared to have been duly elected as the members to the Management Council of the University from the constituency of the members of the Legislative Assembly.
