In exercise of the powers conferred by Article 229 of the Constitution of India, the Honourable the Chief Justice hereby makes the following amendments to the Kerala High Court Service Rules, 2007, namely:

Electrical Engineering.''

2. The existing entry at serial number 1 in column 5 against category 9 in Sub Division 1 of Division IV under Annexure I shall be substituted with the following:

''Should have passed SSLC or equivalent and should not have acquired graduation.'' 3. The existing entry in column 5 against category 7 in Sub Division 1 of Division IV under Amendment (C. S. NO. 66)

In the said Rules,

1. The existing entry at serial number 2 in column 5 against category 3 in Sub Division 1 of Division IV under Annexure I shall be substituted with the following:

Gaz. No. 38/2019/DTP (Judicial).

Annexure I shall be substituted with the following:

''Should have passed SSLC or equivalent and should not have acquired graduation.'' The above amendments shall come into force with immediate effect.

In exercise of the powers conferred Under Section 14 (1) of the Criminal Procedure Code 1973 (Act 2 of 1974), the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kozhikode, hereby defines the local limits of the area within which the Magistrate whose names are specified in Column I of the schedule given below may exercise all or any of the powers vested on him as Judicial First Class Magistrate by the Code and by the High Court, in the local area specified under column No. III of the said schedule with effect from the date of joining duty.
