Whereas the New India Assurance Company Limited has deposited with this Court a sum of ` 7,78,560 (Rupees Seven Lakh Seventy Eight Thousand Five Hundred and Sixty only) as a compensation to be distributed to the dependents of the deceased Muhammed Rafi, who met with a fatal accident while employed under the Chithra Crusher Metals and whereas the Nedumangad Assistant Labour Officer and Punalur Assistant Labour Officer reported that

Ilavupalam, Ex-Colony P. O. —Wife 2. Kumari Afiya Muhabath, Shajeena Manzil,
Ilavupalam, Ex-Colony P. O. —Daughter are his only dependents as defined under Section 2 (1) (d) of the Employees' Compensation Act. Any others who claim to be the dependents of the deceased should within 15 days of the publication of this notice in the Kerala Government Gazette prefer their claim in writing before me and prove the same. If no such claims are received within the prescribed time the entire amount of compensation will be disbursed to the persons mentioned above. Claims preferred thereafter will not be considered.

Whereas, the Managing Partner, M/s Illam Electronics & Home Appliances Limited has deposited with this Court an amount of ` 4,45,560 (Four Lakh Fortyfive Thousand five Hundred and Sixty only) towards compensation payable to the dependents of the deceased Balarajan who died due to stress and strain of the employment while he was working as a Godown Security under the Opposite Party on 13-12-2013. The Assistant Labour Officer Feroke has reported that Smt. Vimala (Wife), Payyanakkal House, Narangaparambath, Beypore-673 015 is his only dependent as defined under Section 2 (1) (d) of the Employees' Compensation Act, 1923 any other claiming to be such dependents should within 15 days of the publication of this notice in the Kerala Government Gazette prefer their claims in writing before me and from the same. If no such claims are received within the prescribed time the entire amount of compensation will be disbursed to the person mentioned above and claim preferred thereafter will not be considered.
