NOTIFICATION

WHEREAS, the Government of Kerala as per notification issued under G.O.(P)No.104/2015/RD. dated 13th March, 2015 and published as S.R.O.No.125/2015 in the Kerala Gazette Extraordinary No.539 dated 13th
2March, 2015 has constituted the Kerala Devaswom Recruitment Board and nominated the members to the said Board;
AND WHEREAS, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub section (3) of section 3 of the Kerala Devaswom Recruitment Board Act, 2015 (16 of 2015), (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) the Government of Kerala as per notification issued under G.O.(P)No.602/2016/RD. dated 20th December, 2016 and published as S.R.O. No. 770/2016 in the Kerala Gazette Extraordinary No.2220 dated 20th December, 2016 has appointed Advocate M. Rajagopalan Nair, Kalyan, B.N.R.A.184 - A, Golf Links Road, Kowdiar, Thiruvananthapuram as Chairperson and Smt. G.S. Shailamani, Manasasarovar, K.B.Nagar-239, Thekkevila P. O., Kollam and Shri P.C. Ravindranathan, Payyappilli House, Madayikkonam P.O., Irinjalakkuda, Thrissur as members of the said Board;
AND WHEREAS, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section (3) of section 3 read with sub-section (6) of section 5 of the said Act, the Government has re-appointed the aforesaid Chairperson and Members of the Kerala Devaswom Recruitment Board vide notification issued under G.O. (P)No.96/2019/RD. dated 24th December, 2019 and published as S.R.O. No. 1007/2019 in the Kerala Gazette Extraordinary No.3194 dated 26th December, 2019;
AND WHEREAS, the term of the Chairperson and Members of the said Board expired on 25th December, 2022, the Government has appointed Advocate K.B. Mohandas,Koolyattuvalappil House, 'Udaya', Civil Lane Road, Poothole P. O , Thrissur-680004 as Chairperson and Smt. Vijayamma B.Kousthubham, Manakara, Sasthamcotta, Kollam-690521 as a Member of the Said Board vide notification issued under G.O.(P)No.32/2023/RD. dated 4th February, 2023 and published as S.R.O. No. 183/2023 in the Kerala
3Gazette Extraordinary No.427 dated 4th February, 2023 and G.O.(P) No.38/2023/RD.dated 8th February,2023 and published as S.R.O. No.194/2023 in the Kerala Gazette Extraordinary No.471 dated 9 th February,2023 respectively.
NOW THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 3 of the Said Act Government have decided to nominate Sri.K.Kumaran, Ayyappa Nivas, Malamekkara, Adoor P.O, Pathanamthitta - 691523 as a Member of the Kerala Devaswom Recruitment Board in the existing vacancy.

Explanatory Note
(This does not form part of the notification, but is intended to indicate its general purport.)
As per G.O.(P) No.104/2015/RD. dated 13th March, 2015 and published as S.R.O.No.125/2015 in the Kerala Gazette Extraordinary No.539 dated 13th March, 2015 the Government has constituted the Kerala Devaswom Recruitment Board and nominated the members to the said Board. As per sub-section (3) of section 3 of the Kerala Devaswom Recruitment Board Act,2015 (16 of 2015), the Government has appointed Advocate B.Rajagopalan Nair as Chairperson and Smt.G.S.Shilamani and Sri.
P.C.Ravindranathan as members of the said Board vide G.O. (P)
4No.602/2016/RD. Dated 20th December, 2016 and published as S.R.O. No.770/2016 in the Kerala Gazette Extraordinary No.2220 dated 20th December, 2016. As per sub-section (6) of section 5 of the said Act the Government has reappointed the aforesaid persons as a Chairperson and members of the said Board. As the term of the Chairperson and Members of the said Board expired on 25th December, 2022, the Government has appointed Advocate K.B. Mohandas as Chairperson and Smt.Vijayamma B as a Member of the said Board vide notification issued under G.O. (P)No.32/2023/RD.dated 4th February, 2023 and published as S.R.O. No. 183/2023 in the Kerala Gazette Extraordinary No.427 dated 4th February,2023 and G.O.(P)No.38/2023/RD. dated 8th February,2023 and published as S.R.O. No.194/2023 in the Kerala Gazette Extraordinary No.471 dated 9th February, 2023 respectively.
Now the Government have decided to nominate Shri.K.Kumaran, Ayyappa Nivas, Malemekkara,Adoor. P.O, Pathanamthitta-691523 as a Member of the Kerala Devaswom Recruitment Board in the existing vacancy.
The notification is intended to achieve the above object.
