4th Dhanu,1199 29 th Agrahayana,1945 In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 5 and 7 of the Kerala Civil Courts Act, 1957 (1 of 1957), the Government of Kerala, in consultation with the High Court of Kerala, hereby establish with effect from 06th January, 2024, a Munsiff Court specified in column (1) of
2the schedule below, in the Civil District specified in column (2), and fix the place specified in column (3) thereof as the place at which the said court shall be held,namely:-

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 10 of the the Kerala Civil Courts Act, 1957 (1 of 1957) and in partial modification of the notification No.V issued under G.O.(P) 116/70/Home dated 21st May,1970 and published in the Kerala Gazette Extra ordinary No.155 dated 21st May,1970, in so far as it related to the local limits of jurisdiction of the Munsiff's Court (Munsiff-Magistrate Court) at Mannarkkad, the Government of Kerala, in consultation with the High Court of Kerala, hereby fix the local area of jurisdiction of Munsiff's Courts specified in column (2) of the schedule below so as to include the villages specified in Column (3) thereof with effect from 06th January, 2024, namely:-

Explanatory Note
(This is not part of this notification but is intended to indicate the general purport.) Government have accorded sanction for the establishment of Munsiff-Magistrate Court, Attappady as per G.O.(Rt.) No.2480/2017/Home dated 22/09/2017. It has been decided to vest the 6 villages in Tribal Taluk, Attappady, now within the jurisdiction of Munsiff's Court, Mannarkkad with the jurisdiction of new Munsiff's Court at Attappady. It is now decided to start the functioning of the said Court at Agali with effect from 06 th January, 2024.
The notifications are intended to achieve the above object.

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 11 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (Central Act 2 of 1974), the Government of Kerala, in consultation with the High Court of Kerala, hereby establish in the Sessions Division mentioned in column (1) of the schedule below, a Court of Judicial Magistrate of the First Class mentioned in column (2), to sit at the place specified in column (3) thereof, with effect from 06th January,2024.
