G.O.(P)No.328/2023/RD Dated,Thiruvananthapuram,25/12/2023 S. R. O. No. 1389/2023In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) & sub-section (2) of section 45 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 (Central Act 30 of 2013), the Government of Kerala hereby make the following amendment to the Notification issued under G.O.(P)No.158/2023/RD dated 22nd June 2023 and published as S.R.O No. 704/2023 in the Kerala Gazette Extraordinary No. 2097 dated 22nd June 2023:- This is a digitally signed Gazette. 2 Amendment

In Sl No. (g) of the said notification the designation of Shri Jayan K, Chedayankalai, Umminikulam mentioned as 'Member, Panchayat' shall be substituted as 'Nominee of Panchayat President'.

Explanatory Note (This does not form part of the notification, but is intended to indicate its general purport) The Government of Kerala have constituted the Rehabilitation and Resettlement Committee, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) & sub-section (2) of section 45 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 (Central Act 30 of 2013) to monitor and review the progress of implementation of the Rehabilitation and Resettlement Scheme and to carry out post implementation social audits in consultation with the Grama Sabha in rural areas in respect of involuntary displacement of persons due to acquisition of 375 acres of land in Pudussery West & Pudussery Central Villages for setting up of National Investment & Manufacturing Zone (NIMZ) by KINFRA as part of the development of Kochi Bengaluru Industrial Corridor. The designation of the nominee of the Chairpersons of the panchayats located in the affected area is erroneously noted as 'Member, Panchayat' instead of 'Nominee of Panchayat President.

The notification is intended to achieve the above object.
