G.O.(P) No.90/2023/H&FWD Dated, Thiruvananthapuram, 23rd December, 2023

In exercise of the powers conferred under Sub- section (1) of section 22 of the National Commission for Allied Health Care Professions Act, 2021 (No.14 of 2021), the Government of Kerala hereby make the following amendment to the notification issued under G.O.(P)No.53/2022/H&FWD dated 28th
2September, 2022 and published as S.R.O.No.924/2022 in the Kerala Gazette Extraordinary No.3327 dated 28th September, 2022, namely:-
AMENDMENT
In the said notification, after serial number 5 (v) the following entries shall be inserted, namely:-
"vi. Two persons, representing charitable institutions engaged in education or services in connection with any recognized category
(a) Dr. M. Rejadheesh, M.Sc. (Medical Microbiology) Ph. D
(Medical Microbiology) Former Assistant professor,
Department of Medical Microbiology, - Member School of Health Science, University of Calicut, Thenjipalam, Calicut,
(b) Dr.R.Manikkumar. M.Sc, Ph.D,
- Member"

3Explanatory Note
(This does not form part of the notification, but is intended to indicate its general purport.)
As per sub-section (1) of section 22 of the National Commission for Allied Health Care Professions Act, 2021 (No.14 of 2021), the Government of Kerala Health Care Professions Act, 2021 (No.14 of 2021), the Government of Kerala have constituted the Kerala State Allied and Healthcare Council vide G.O.(P) No.53/2022/H&FWD dated 28th September, 2022 and published as S.R.O. No.924/2022 in the Kerala Gazette Extraordinary No.3327 dated 28th September, 2022. In the above said notification the members representing each of the recognized categories specified in the schedule of the Act to be nominated by the State Government having such qualifications and experience are not included as members. Hence the Government have decided to nominate the above said persons representing the recognized category specified in the schedule of the Act as members of the said council by amending the said notification.
This notification is intended to achieve the above object.
