WHEREAS, under the provisions of sub­rule (5) of rule 182 of the Kerala Co­operative   Societies   Rules,   1969,   in   respect   of   societies   and   posts   not covered by section 80(3A) and section 80B of the Kerala Co­operative Societies Act, 1969 (Act 21 of 1969), the appointments shall be made by the committee after conducting the written examination and interview as per the guidelinesThis is a digitally signed Gazette. issued by the Registrar;

AND  WHEREAS,  the   Board   of   Directors   of   the   Vayathur   Vanitha   Co­ operative   Society   Limited   No.   C.1363   in   Kannur   District   has   resolved   to request   the   Government   of   Kerala   through   the   Registrar   of   Co­operative Societies,   to   exempt   the   said   society   from   the   provisions   of   sub­rule   (5)  of section 182 of the Kerala Co­operative Societies Rules, 1969 for the purpose of regularizing the appointment of Smt. Usha M. K. in the post of Secretary of the said society;

AND  WHEREAS,  the  Registrar of  Co­operative  Societies  has   forwarded the proposal of the Board of Directors of the said society and has requested the Government to exempt the said society from the provisions of sub­rule (5) of rule 182 of the Kerala Co­operative Societies Rules, 1969 for the purpose of regularizing the appointment of Smt. Usha M. K. in the post of Secretary of the said society;

AND  WHEREAS,  the Government have considered the matter in detail and   are   satisfied   that   it   is   necessary   to   exempt   the   Vayathur   Vanitha   Co­ operative Society Limited No.C.1363 in Kannur District from the provisions of sub­rule (5) of rule 182 of the Kerala Co­operative Societies Rules, 1969 so as to enable the said society to regularize the appointment of Smt. Usha M. K. in the post of Secretary of the said society;

NOW,  THEREFORE,  in exercise of the powers conferred by rule 181 of the   Kerala   Co­operative   Societies   Rules,   1969,   the   Government   of   Kerala hereby exempt the Vayathur Vanitha Co­operative Society Limited No. C.1363 in Kannur District from the provisions of sub­rule (5) of rule 182 of the Kerala Co­operative   Societies   Rules,   1969   so   as   to   enable   the   said   society   to regularize the appointment of Smt. Usha M. K. in the post of Secretary of the said society.
