In exercise of the powers conferred under clause (s) of section 2 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (Central Act 2 of 1974) read with section 5 of theKerala Police Act, 2011 (8 of 2011) and in partial modification of the notification issued as under G.O.(Rt.) No. 4925/1987/Home dated 19th December, 1987 and published as S.R.O. This is a digitally signed Gazette. Authenticity may be verified through https://compose.kerala.gov.in/

2 No. 1717/87 in the Kerala Gazette Extraordinary No. 1071 dated 29 th December, 1987 in so

far as it relates to the location of Sakthikulangara Police Station, the Government of Kerala hereby declare that the building bearing No. KMC/3/2376/1757 of Kollam Corporation in Re-Survey No. 89/10 in Block No. I of Sakthikulangara Village in Kollam Taluk of Kollam District shall be a Police Station known as " Sakthikulangara Police Station".

Explanatory Note

(This does not form part of the notification, but is intended to indicate its general purport.)

Sakthikulangara Police Station is now functioning in a rented building and a new building has been constructed for housing Sakthikulangara Police Station. Government have decided to shift Sakthikulangara Police Station to the newly constructed building bearing No. KMC/3/2376/1757 of Kollam Corporation in Re-Survey No. 89/10 in Block No. I of Sakthikulangara Village in Kollam Taluk, Kollam District.

The notification is intended to achieve the above object.
