G.O(P)No.1/2024/SCSTD
Dated, Thiruvananthapuram 03-01-2024 S. R. O. No. 4/2024
In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 3 of the Kerala State Commission for the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes Act, 2007 (20 of 2007), the Government of Kerala hereby reconstitute the "Kerala State Commission for the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes" with the following members namely;-

The Additional Chief Secretary to Government of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Development Department will be the Ex-officio Member and the Member Secretary of the Commission.
This notification shall come into force with effect from 4th January 2024.

Explanatory Note
(This does not form part of the notification, but is intended to indicate its general purport.) In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 3 of the Kerala State Commission for the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes Act, 2007 (20 of 2007) Government have reconstituted the Kerala State Commission for the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes as per the G.O(P)No.7/2020/SCSTDD dated 30th December, 2020 and published as S.R.O No.918/2020 in the Kerala Gazette Extraordinary No.3160 dated 31st December 2020. As per the provisions contained in
3subsection (1) of Section 4 of the said Act, the term of office of the members will expire on 3 rd January 2024. Hence Government have decided to reconstitute the Commission in accordance with the provisions of the said Act.
The notification is intended to achieve the above object.
