In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section (8) of section 24 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (Central Act 2 of 1974) read with sub-rules (2), (3) and (4) of rule 11 of the Kerala Government Law Officers (Appointment and Conditions of Service) and Conductof Cases Rules, 1978, the Government of Kerala hereby appoint Shri K.M. Ramdas, Advocate, Roll No. K/1023/93, 'Laxmi', Panoli Temple, Mukkali, Chombala P.O., Kozhikode, as Special This is a digitally signed Gazette. 2 Public Prosecutor for the conduct of prosecution in Crime Nos. 640/2021, 642/2021, 641/2021, 638/2021, 624/2021 and 641/2022 of Kuttiyadi Police Station, Crime Nos. 586/2021,

588/2021, 589/2021 and 573/2021 of Nadapuram Police Station and Crime Nos. 787/2021, 775/2021, 776/2021 and 791/2021 of Payyoli Police Station and any other crimes, if any registered in the said Police Stations, in connection with Kuttiyadi Gold Palace Jewellery Investment fraud, on payment of fees prescribed in item 10 of rule 32 of the Kerala Government Law Officers (Appointment and Conditions of Service) and Conduct of Cases Rules, 1978.

Explanatory Note

Government considers it necessary to appoint Shri K.M. Ramdas, Advocate, Roll No. K/1023/93, 'Laxmi', Panoli Temple, Mukkali, Chombala P.O., Kozhikode, who is having requisite qualification as Special Public Prosecutor for the conduct of prosecution in Crime Nos. 640/2021, 642/2021, 641/2021, 638/2021, 624/2021 and 641/2022 of Kuttiyadi Police Station, Crime Nos. 586/2021, 588/2021, 589/2021 and 573/2021 of Nadapuram Police Station and Crime Nos. 787/2021, 775/2021, 776/2021 and 791/2021 of Payyoli Police Station and any other crimes, if any registered in the said Police Stations, in connection with Kuttiyadi Gold Palace Jewellery Investment fraud, on payment of fees prescribed in item 10 of rule 32 of the Kerala Government Law Officers (Appointment and Conditions of Service) and Conduct of Cases Rules, 1978.

The notification is intended to achieve the above object.
