Thiruvananthapuram, S. R. O. No. 17/2024In exercise of the powers conferred by 2nd proviso of subsection 7 of section 19 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 (Central Act 30 of 2013), the Government of Kerala hereby extend the time limit in publishing the declaration as per sub-section 1 of section 19 to the Notification issued under sub-section (1) of section 11 as per G.O.(P) No. 180/2021/RD dated 17 th November 2021 and published in the Extra Ordinary Gazette No. 3412 dated 17th November 2021 namely :- This is a digitally signed Gazette. G.O.(P) No. 180/2021/RD dated 17th November 2021 and published in the Extra Ordinary Gazette No. 3412 dated 17th November 2021 has been issued in accordance with the provisions of sub-section (1) of section 11 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 with regard to the acquisition of 14.6501 Hectares of land in Kezhallur & Koodali Villages of Kannur district for rehabilitation of affected families displaced as part of acquisition of land for runway extension of Kannur International Airport.

AND WHEREAS, the D istrict Collector, Kannur has reported that as per Section 19(7) of LARR Act, 2013 mentions that the 19(1) D eclaration has to be published within 12 months from the date of issuance of 11(1) Notification (preliminary notification) and that the 11(1) Notification issued as per G.O.(P) No. 180/2021/RD dated 17th November 2021 and published in the Extra Ordinary Gazette No. 3412 dated 17th November 2021 and extended as per G.O.(P)No.195/2023/RD dated 16th August 2023 and published in the Extra Ordinary Gazette No. 2709 dated 17th August 2023 expired on 16.11.2023 and therefore requested to extend the time limit for publishing the 19(1) D eclaration.

NOW THEREFORE, sanction is accorded to extend the time limit in publishing the declaration for a further period of twelve months from the date of expiry of the 11(1) Notification ie. 16.11.2023, issued as per G.O.(P) No. 180/2021/RD dated 17th November 2021 and published in the Extra Ordinary Gazette No. 3412 dated 17th November 2021 and extended as per G.O.(P)No.195/2023/RD dated 16th August 2023 and published in the Extra Ordinary Gazette No. 2709 dated 17th August 2023 by invoking the provisions contained in 2nd proviso to Section 19(7) of the LARR Act, 2013 with regard to the acquisition of 14.6501 Hectares of land in Kezhallur & Koodali Villages of Kannur district for rehabilitation of affected families displaced as part of acquisition of land for runway extension of Kannur International Airport as the last chance on the condition that no more extension be granted under any circumstances.
