2 ExtensionProceedings No. K13-76930/16 dated 12th July 2022 and published in the Extra Ordinary Gazette No.2346 dated 14th July 2022 has been issued in accordance with the provisions of subsection (1) of section 11 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 with regard to the acquisition of 42.62 Ares of land in Manacadu Village of Thiruvananthapuram district for the extension of right side approach road of Attukal bridge.
AND WHEREAS, the District Collector, Thiruvananthapuram has reported that as per Section 19(7) of LARR Act, 2013 mentions that the 19(1) Declaration has to be published within 12 months from the date of issuance of 11(1) Notification (preliminary notification) and that the 11(1) Notification issued as per Proceedings No. K13-76930/16 dated 12th July 2022 and published in the Extra Ordinary Gazette No. 2346 dated 14th July 2022 and extended as per Proceedings No. K13-76930/16 dated 22nd June 2023 and published in the Extra Ordinary Gazette No. 2121 dated 24th June 2023, will expire on 14/01/2024 and therefore requested to extend the time limit for publishing the 19(1) Declaration.
NOW THEREFORE, sanction is accorded to extend the time limit in publishing the Declaration for a further period of 6 months from the date of expiry of the 11(1) notification ie. 14/01/2024 by invoking the provisions contained in 2nd proviso to Section 19(7) of the LARR Act, 2013 with regard to the acquisition of 42.62 Ares of land in Manacadu Village of Thiruvananthapuram district for the extension of right side approach road of Attukal bridge, as the last chance on the condition that no more extension be allowed under any circumstances.

The notification is intended to achieve the above object.
