FORM OF PRELIMINARY NOTIFICATION TO BE ISSUED BY THE COLLECTOR UNDER SUB
SECTION (1) OF SECTION 11
NOTIFICATION
No.C11892/22 Place.Kakkanad Dated: 5th January 2024.
WHEREAS, the Government of Kerala have as per Notification No. 649/2015 RD Dated 04.12.2015 appointed the Special Tahsildar (L.A.) No.I Kochi Metro Rail Project, Kakkanad to perform the functions of a Collector for the purpose of land acquisition under the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013.
AND WHEREAS, the Government hereby appoint the Deputy Collector (L.A.) Kochi Metro Rail Project, Civil Station, Kakkanad as the Administrator for the purpose of Rehabilitation and Resettlement to the proposed acquisition.
5AND WHEREAS, it appears to the Government that the land specified in the schedule below is needed or is likely to be needed for public purpose to wit for the construction of Muttar Sewage Treatment Plant in connection with Intergarated Urban Regeneration and Water Transport System Project .
Now, THEREFORE, notice is hereby given to that effect to whomsoever it may concern, in accordance with the provisions of subsection (1) of section 11 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013.
All persons interested in the said land are accordingly required to lodge before the Special Tahsildar (L.A.) No.I, Kochi Metro Rail Project, Kakkanad within 15 days from the date of publication of the above notification, or after giving public notice regarding this whichever is later, a statement in writing of their objections, if any, regarding the updation of land records or title in respect of the land proposed for acquisition. Any objection/statement which is received after the due date or which does not clearly explain as to how the objector is interested in the land is liable to be summarily rejected.

7Summary of Social Impact Assessment Report
As per the SIA Report submitted by Bharath Mata College of Social Work , Bharath Mata College, Thrikkakara, Ernakulam , an extent of 1.2378 "hectors" of land in Ernakulam District, Kanayannur Taluk, Edappally North Village comprising of private land has to be acquired for the construction of Muttar Sewage Treatment Plant in connection with IURWTS Project and SIA study unit could identify 6 land owners. The land which comes under the jurisdiction of Cochin Corporation is situated in Edappally North Village.
