കേരള വെറ്ററിനറി & അനിമൽ സയൻസസ് സർവ്വകലാശാലയുടെ മാനേജ്മെന്റ ് കൗൺസിലിൽ, സർവ്വകലാശാലാ ആക്ട് 2010 (2011-ലെ ആക്ട് 3) 21-ാം വകുപ്പിലെ ഉപവകുപ്പ് 2 (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) എന്നീ വിഭാഗങ്ങളിലേയ്ക്ക് പുനxസംഘടിപ്പിക്കേ≠തു≠്. സർവ്വകലാശാലയുടെ ഭേദഗതി ചെയ്ത സ്റ്റാറ്റ്യൂട്ടിലെ XXIV-ാം അദ്ധ്യായത്തിൽ സൂചിപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന വ്യവസ്ഥകൾ പ്രകാരം കൈമാറ്റം ചെയ്യാവുന്ന ഒറ്റ വോട്ടു വഴി ആനുപാതിക പ്രാതിനിധ്യ സമ്പ്രദായത്തിലൂടെ ചുവടെ കൊടുത്തിരിക്കുന്ന മfiലങ്ങളിലേക്കുള്ള തെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് വി⁄ാപനം പുറപ്പെടുവിക്കുന്നു.
മfiലങ്ങൾ:
1. സർവ്വകലാശാലയിലെ വിദ്യാർ∞ികളിൽ നിന്ന് അവരാൽ തെരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെടുന്ന ഒരംഗം.
2. സർവ്വകലാശാലയിലെ അദ്ധ്യാപകരിൽ നിന്ന് അവരാൽ തെരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെടുന്ന 3 (മൂന്ന്) അംഗങ്ങൾ.
3. സർവ്വകലാശാലയിലെ അനദ്ധ്യാപക ജീവനക്കാരിൽ നിന്നും അവരാൽ തെരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെടുന്ന ഒരംഗം.
4. സർവ്വകലാശാലയിലെ സ്ഥിരം തൊഴിലാളികളിൽ നിന്നും അവരാൽ തെരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെടുന്ന ഒരംഗം.
തെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് സംബന്ധിച്ച സമയക്രമം ചുവടെ കൊടുക്കുന്നു
വി⁄ാപനം പുറപ്പെടുവിക്കുകയും നാമനിർദ്ദേശപത്രിക വിതരണം ആരംഭിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന തീയതി—22-12-2023.
നാമനിർദ്ദേശ പത്രിക റിട്ടേണിംഗ് ഓഫീസറുടെ കാര്യാലയത്തിൽ സ്വീകരിച്ചു തുടങ്ങുന്ന തീയതി—10-1-2024.
നാമനിർദ്ദേശപത്രിക സ്വീകരിക്കാനുള്ള അവസാന തീയതിയും സമയവും—22-1-2024, 3 മണി.
നാമനിർദ്ദേശപത്രിക സൂക്ഷ്മപരിശോധന നടത്തുന്ന തീയതിയും സമയവും—22-1-2024, 3.15 മണി.
നിയമസാധുതയോടെ നാമനിർദ്ദേശം ചെയ്യപ്പെട്ട സ്ഥാനാർ∞ികളുടെ പട്ടിക പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിക്കുന്ന തീയതിയും സമയവും—22-1-2024, 4 മണി.
നാമനിർദ്ദേശപത്രിക പിൻവലിക്കാനുള്ള അവസാന തീയതിയും സമയവും—29-1-2024, 2.30 മണി.
സ്ഥാനാർ∞ികളുടെ അന്തിമ പട്ടിക പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിക്കാനുള്ള തീയതിയും സമയവും—29-1-2024, 4 മണി.
വോട്ടെടുപ്പ് നടത്തുന്ന തീയതിയും സമയവും—22-2-2024, വ്യാഴം 9 മണി മുതൽ 4 മണിവരെ വോട്ടെണ്ണൽ നടത്തുന്ന തീയതിയും സമയവും—24-2-2024, 10 മണി, സർവ്വകലാശാലാ ആസ്ഥാനത്തുള്ള കബനി ഓഡിറ്റോറിയത്തിൽ വച്ച്.
തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് വി⁄ാപനത്തിനൊപ്പം സർവ്വകലാശാല പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിക്കുന്ന വോട്ടർ പട്ടികയിൽ ഉൾപ്പെട്ടിട്ടുള്ള വിദ്യാർ∞ികൾ, അധ്യാപകർ, അനദ്ധ്യാപക ജീവനക്കാർ, സ്ഥിരം തൊഴിലാളികൾ എന്നിവർക്ക് മാത്രമേ തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പിൽ മൽസരിക്കുവാനോ വോട്ട് രേഖപ്പെടുത്തുവാനോ ഉള്ള നിയമപരമായ അവകാശം ഉ≠ാവുകയുള്ളു. നാമനിർദ്ദേശ പത്രികയും, തെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട മറ്റു വിശദാംശങ്ങളും, സർവ്വകലാശാലാ രജിസ്ട്രാറുടെ ഓഫീസിൽ നിന്നും, സർവ്വകലാശാലാ വെബ്സൈറ്റ് ആയ www.kvasu.ac.in-ൽ നിന്നും ലഭിക്കുന്നതാണ്.

Whereas it is necessary to re-constitute the Management Council of the University as per Sub-section 2 (ii), (iii), (iv) and (v) of Section 21, of the Kerala Veterinary And Animal Sciences University Act 2010 (Act 3 of 2011) and hence it is hereby notified that the following elections will be held according to the principle of proportional representation by means of single transferable vote and in accordance with the procedure prescribed in Chapter XXIV of the first amended statute of the University to elect:
Constituencies of the Management Council:
1. One member elected by regular Students of the University from among themselves.
2. Three members elected by the Teachers of the University from among themselves.
3. One member elected by the Non-Teaching Staff of the University from among themselves.
4. One member elected by the Permanent Laboures of the University from among themselves.
The following schedule is hereby notified for the conduct of the elections

Date of start of receipt of nomination at the Registry, KVASU HQ, Pookode—10-1-2024 Last date a nd hour for receipt of nomination a t the Registry, KVASU HQ, Pookode—22-1-2024, 3 p.m.
Date and hour for scrutiny of nomination at the Registry, KVASU HQ, Pookode—22-1-2024, 3.15 p.m.
Date and hour for publication of the list of validly nominated candidates—22-1-2024, 4 p.m. Last date and hour for withdrawal of candidature—29-1-2024, 2.30 p.m.
Date and hour for publication of the final list of candidates—29-1-2024, 4 p.m.
Date and hour fixed for the poll—22-02-2024, Thursday 9 a.m. to 4.00 p.m.
Date, hour, and place of scrutiny and counting of votes—24-2-2024, 10.00 a.m. at Kabani Auditorium, KVASU HQ, Pookode.
The Students, Teachers, Non-Teaching Staff and Labourers of KVASU enlisted in the Electoral Rolls published by the University will only be entitled to contest and vote in the elections.
The nomination form and other details of the election can be obtained from the office of the Registrar, KVASU and the University website, www.kvasu.ac.in.
