Thiruvananthapuram, S. R. O. No. 1097/2024In exercise of the powers conferred by 2nd proviso to subsection 7 of section 19 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 (Central Act 30 of 2013), the Government of Kerala hereby extend the time limit in publishing the declaration as per sub-section 1 of section 19 to the Notification issued under sub-section (1) of section 11 as per G.O(P) No.131/2023/RD dated 25th May 2023 and published in the Extra Ordinary Gazette No.1739 dated 25th May 2023, namely:- This is a digitally signed Gazette. G.O(P) No.131/2023/RD dated 25th May 2023 and published in the Extra Ordinary Gazette No.1739 dated 25th May 2023 has been issued in accordance with the provisions of subsection (1) of section 11 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 with regard to the acquisition of land for the 4 laning of Vazhayila - Nedumangad - Pazhakutty road Reach 3 from Valikkode Junction to Pazhakutty Pump Junction - Kacherinada 11th stone.

AND WHEREAS, the District Collector, Thiruvananthapuram has reported that as per Section 19(7) of LARR Act, 2013 mentions that the 19(1) Declaration has to be published within 12 months from the date of issuance of 11(1) Notification (preliminary notification) and that the 11(1) Notification issued as per G.O(P) No.131/2023/RD dated 25th May 2023 and published in the Extra Ordinary Gazette No.1739 dated 25th May 2023 and extended as per G.O.(P)No.144 /2024/RD dated 29th June 2024 and published in the Extra Ordinary Gazette No.2072 dated 29 th June 2024 expired on 24/11/2024 and therefore requested to extend the time limit for publishing the 19(1) Declaration.

NOW THEREFORE, sanction is accorded to extend the time limit in publishing the Declaration for a further period of 6 months from the date of expiry of the 11(1) notification ie. 24/11/2024 by invoking the provisions contained in 2nd proviso to Section 19(7) of the LARR Act, 2013 with regard to the acquisition of land for the 4 laning of Vazhayila - Nedumangad - Pazhakutty road Reach 3 from Valikkode Junction to Pazhakutty Pump Junction - Kacherinada 11th stone.

(This does not form part of the notification, but is intended to indicate its general purport) G.O(P) No.131/2023/RD dated 25th May 2023 and published in the Extra Ordinary Gazette No.1739 dated 25th May 2023, has been issued in accordance with the provisions of subsection (1) of section 11 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 with regard to the acquisition of land for the 4 laning of Vazhayila - Nedumangad - Pazhakutty road Reach 3 from Valikkode Junction to Pazhakutty Pump Junction - Kacherinada 11 th stone. As per Section 19(7) of LARR Act, 2013, the 19(1) Declaration has to be published within 12 months from the date of issuance of 11(1) Notification (preliminary notification) and that the 11(1) Notification issued as per G.O(P) No.131/2023/RD dated 25th May 2023 and published in the Extra Ordinary Gazette No.1739 dated 25th May 2023 and extended as per G.O.(P) No.144/2024/RD dated 29th June 2024 and published in the Extra Ordinary Gazette No.2072 dated 29th June 2024 expired on 24/11/2024 and hereby extend the time limit for publishing the 19(1) Declaration.

The notification is intended to achieve the above object.
