WHEREAS, under subsection (1) of section 33 of the Kerala Cooperative Societies Act, 1969 (21 of 1969), the term of an administrator or an exceed one year in the aggregate;
2AND WHEREAS, the said term of one year of the administrator appointed under subsection (1) of section 33 of the said Act to manage the affairs of the Perumpadappu Group Primary School Cooperative Society Limited No.M.138 in Malappuram District expired on 28th July, 2016;
AND WHEREAS, under subsection (1A) of section 33 of the said Act, the Government may, by notification in the Gazette, for reasons to be recorded, permit the Registrar of Cooperative Societies to extend the term of the administrator or administrative committee for a further period not exceeding one year in the aggregate or till a newly elected committee enters upon office, whichever is earlier;
AND WHEREAS, the term of the administrator of the said society was extended for a period of two years and six months from 29th July, 2016 to 28th January, 2019 in pursuance of notification issued under G.O(P)No.165/2018/Coop. dated 1st December, 2018 and published as S.R.O. No.891/2018 in the Kerala Gazette Extraordinary No.3125 dated 12th December, 2018 and the period so extended also expired on 28th January, 2019;
AND WHEREAS, the Registrar of Cooperative Societies has reported that the election to the Board of Directors of the said society could not be conducted within the extended period and has requested to extend the term of the administrator for a further period of seven years from 29th January, 2019 to 28th January, 2026 or till a newly elected committee enters upon office, whichever is earlier, to avoid administrative vacuum in the said society;
AND WHEREAS, the Government have examined the matter in detail and are satisfied that it is necessary, in public interest, to direct that the provisions of subsection (1A) of section 33 of the said Act shall apply to the said society with certain modifications and to permit the Registrar of Cooperative Societies to
3January, 2026 or till a newly elected committee enters upon office, whichever is earlier;
NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 101 of the Kerala Cooperative Societies Act, 1969 (21 of 1969), the Government of Kerala hereby direct that the provisions of subsection (1A) of section 33 of the said Act shall apply to the Perumpadappu Group Primary School Cooperative Society Limited No.M.138 in Malappuram District with the modification of substituting the words "nine years and six months" for the words "one year" and in exercise of the powers under subsection (1A) of section 33 of the said Act, as so modified, permit the Registrar of Cooperative Societies to extend the term of the administrator appointed to manage the affairs of the said society for a further period of seven years from 29th January, 2019 to 28th January, 2026 or till a newly elected committee enters upon office, whichever is earlier, to avoid administrative vacuum in the said society.

Explanatory Note
(This does not form part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general purport.)
The term of one year of the administrator appointed under subsection (1) of section 33 of the Kerala Cooperative Societies Act, 1969 (21 of 1969), to manage the affairs of the Perumpadappu Group Primary School Cooperative Society Limited No.M.138 in Malappuram District expired on 28th July, 2016.
The said term was extended for a further period of two years and six months from 29th July, 2016 to 28th January, 2019 in pursuance of notification issued under G.O(P)No.165/2018/Coop. dated 1st December, 2018 and published as S.R.O. No.891/2018 in the Kerala Gazette Extraordinary No.3125 dated 12th December, 2018 and the period so extended also expired on 28 th January, 2019.
The Registrar of Cooperative Societies has reported that the election to the

This order is intended to achieve the above object.
