In exercise of the powers conferred by sub -section (8) of section 18 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (Central Act 46 of 2023) read with sub-rules (2), (3) and (4) of rule 11 of the Kerala Government Law Officers (Appointment and Conditions of Services) and Conduct of Cases Rules, 1978 and in supersession of the notification issued under G.O. (Rt.)No.2975/2016/Home dated 27th September, 2016 and published as S.R.O.No.621/2016 in the Kerala Gazette Extraordinary No.1706 dated 3rd This is a digitally signed Gazette. October, 2016, the Government of Kerala hereby appoint Shri K.P.Jabbar., Advocate, Kaithavana, Mukundapuram P.O., Chavara, Kollam District as Special Public Prosecutor for the conduct of prosecution in Crime No.711/2016 of Paravur Police Station (Crime No. 66/CB/KLM/2016 of Crime Branch, Kollam) on payment of fees prescribed in item 10 of rule 32 of the Kerala Government Law Officers (Appointment and Conditions of Service) and Conduct of Cases Rules, 1978.

Explanatory Note

(This does not form part of the notification, but is intended to indicate its general purport.)

Government considers it necessary to appoint Shri K.P.Jabbar., Advocate, Kaithavana, Mukundapuram P.O., Chavara, Kollam District, as Special Public Prosecutor for the conduct of prosecution in Crime No.711/2016 of Paravur Police Station (Crime No. 66/CB/KLM/2016 of Crime Branch, Kollam), since the present Special Public Prosecutor, Shri Parippally R. Raveendran has passed away on 23rd June, 2024.

The notification is intended to achieve the above object.
