Co-operation Department - Kerala Co-operative Professional Education Fund Scheme 2021- Amended - Orders Issued

ORDER
As per Government Order read as first paper above, "Kerala Co- operative Professional Education Fund Scheme, 2015" was approved.
Thereafter as per Government Order read as fourth paper above "Kerala Co-operative Professional Education Fund Scheme, 2021" was published incorporating modifications made in the Scheme. Now, based on the decisions 5th read above in the High Level Committee meeting held on 31/01/2024, Government are pleased to further amend the "Kerala Co- operative Professional Education Fund Scheme, 2021" as follows:
1. Amendment of para 4.- In Para 4, the following sentence shall be added at the end, namely:-
"and to disseminate the knowledge and achievements acquired by the co- operative sector in Kerala to the public through the media and to organize professional training for co-operatives and Department staff".
2. Amendment of para 5.- In para 5, after sub clause (v) the following sub clause shall be added namely. -
" (vi) Department of Co-operation"
3 . Amendment of para 9.- In para 9, after sub clause (A) (iii) the following sub clause shall be inserted namely:-
" (iv) assistance to disseminate the knowledge and achievements acquired by the co-operative sector in Kerala to the public through the media and to organize professional training for co-operatives and Department staff"
34. Amendment of para 12.- In para 12,
(i) in clause iv for the figure "15" the figure "10" shall be substituted;
(ii) in clause v for the figure "10" the figure "5" shall be substituted;
(iii) after clause v, the following clause shall be added namely.-
"(vi) Department of Co-operation as per clause 5(vi) – 10%"
5. Amendment of para 13.- in para 13, in the table under title 'Quantum of assistance'
(i) a new column at the right end with title "Department of Co-operation as per clause 5(vi)" shall be inserted;
(ii) a new row with serial number 5, shall be inserted;
(iii) against serial number 5, the following entries shall be inserted namely:-
(a) under column with title 'Purpose' the words "to disseminate the knowledge and achievements acquired by the co-operative sector in Kerala to the public through the media and to organize professional training for co-operatives and Department staff" shall be entered;
(b) under column with title "Department of Co-operation as per clause 5(vi)" the words " Rupees five crores" shall be entered;
2) Government Order read as 4th paper above shall stands modified to the above extent.
