NOTIFICATION
G.O.(P)No.40/2024/GAD
Dated, Thiruvananthapuram 8th December 2024 S. R. O. No. 1134/2024
In exercise of the powers conferred under sub-section (1) of section 18 and section 19 of the Haj Committee Act, 2002 (Central Act 35 of 2002), the Government of Kerala hereby nominate Shri Muhammed Sakeer as a Member of the Kerala State Haj Committee, in the place of Shri Karamana Bayar, nominated by the State Government as per notification issued under G.O.(P)No.38/2024/GAD.
2dated 22nd November, 2024 and published as S.R.O. No.1064/2024 in the Kerala Gazette Extraordinary No.3723 dated 22nd November, 2024 and consequently make the following amendment to the said notification, namely:-
AMENDMENT
In the said notification, against serial number 14, for the entry in column (2), the following entry shall be substituted, namely:-
"Shri.Muhammed Sakeer
Puthenparambil House,
Erattupetta P.O.,
Kottayam –686121
(Representative of Muslim Voluntary Organization – Social Work).".

3Explanatory Note
(This does not form part of the notification, but is intended to indicate its general purport.) As per G.O.(P)No.38/2024/GAD. dated 22nd November, 2024 and published as S.R.O.No.1064/2024 in the Kerala Gazette Extraordinary No.3723 dated 22nd November, 2024, the State Government have published the names of persons nominated as members of the Kerala State Haj Committee. Now, the Government have nominated Shri. Muhammed Sakeer as a member of the said Committee in the place of Shri. Karamana Bayar and decided to make consequential amendment to the said notification accordingly.
The notification is intended to achieve the above object.
