Explanatory Note
(This does not form part of the notification, but is intended to indicate its general purport.) As per notification issued as G.O.(Ms.)No.114/2022/Home dated 10th June, 2022, the Government had accorded Administrative Sanction for the establishment of an Additional District and Sessions Court (Special Court) for the trial of Puttingal Devi Temple Fireworks Mishap Case. It has now been decided to commence the said Court in Kollam judicial district at the location suggested by the High Court at Kollam with effect from 10th December, 2024.
The notification is intended to achieve the above objects.
