വിജ്ഞാപനത്തിലെU പട്ടി(cid:2)യി്‍െ ര്രപകേത്യ(cid:2)ം പറഞ്ഞിട്ടിള്ള പാക്കൊട് കേQാറസ്റ്റ് ഡിവിഷനി്‍െ ഉള്‍ചെപ്പട്ടിട്ടുള്ള സ്ഥംെ പാക്കൊട് കേQാറസ്റ്റ് ട്രൈര്രടബ്യൂണബ്ലിലെU ഒ.എ. 165/1976-)ം നമ്പർ കേ(cid:2)സി്‍െ ഉള്‍ ചെപ്പട്ടതാണ്. ഒ.എ. 165/1976-്‍െ പരാതിക്കാരന് ര്രപസ്തുത സ്ഥംെ തിരിലെ(cid:2) ഭെിക്കുവാന്‍ ഉത്തരവായിട്ടുള്ളതുമാണ്. അര്രപ(cid:2)ാരം ഭൂമി തിരിലെ(cid:2) ന്‍െ(cid:2)ുകേമ്പാള്‍ അവിചെടയുളള വൃ്േഷങ്ങള്‍ മുറിച്ചു മാറ്റുന്നതിന് സാധ്യതയുളളതിനാബ്ലും അത് അവിടലെത്ത മണ്ണ് സംര്േഷിക്കുന്നതിചെനയും ഈർപ്പം നിനെിർത്തുന്നതിചെനയും ബാധിക്കുചെമന്നതിനാബ്ലും, പട്ടി(cid:2)യി്‍െ ര്രപകേത്യ(cid:2)ം പറഞ്ഞിട്ടുള്ള ര്രപസ്തുത ര്രപകേDശം 1986 -ചെ െ കേ(cid:2)രള വൃ്േഷ സംര്േഷണ ആ(cid:2)്റ്റിചെ െ (1986-ചെ െ35) 5 -ം വ(cid:2)ുപ്പിലെU പരിധിയി്‍െ ലെ(cid:2)ാണ്ടുവന്ന് ആ ര്രപകേDശലെത്ത വൃ്േഷ സമ്പത്ത് സംര്േഷിക്കുന്നതിന് സർക്കാർ തീരുമാനിച്ചു.
കേമല്പറഞ്ഞ ്െേഷ്യം നിറകേവറ്റുന്നതിന് ഉകേPശിച്ചുലെ(cid:2)ാണ്ടുളളതാണ് ഈ വിജ്ഞാപനം

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 5 of the Kerala Preservation of Trees Act, 1986 (35 of 1986), the Government of Kerala hereby direct that no tree standing in the area specified in the Schedule below, shall be cut, uprooted, burnt or otherwise destroyed except on the ground that,-
(a) the tree constitutes a danger to life or property; or
(b) the tree is dead, diseased or wind-fallen.

Explanatory Note
(This does not form part of the notification, but is intended to indicate its general purport.) The area specified in the Schedule to the notification comprised in Forest Division, Palakkad, is involved in O.A No.165/1976 of Forest Tribunal, Palakkad. In O.A. No.165/1976, it was ordered to get the said area restored to petitioners. On such restoration, it is likely to cut and remove the available trees, which will affect soil conservation and moisture retention in the area. Government have decided to bring the area specified in the Schedule under the purview of section 5 of the Kerala Preservation of Tress Act,1986(35 of 1986) and thereby to preserve the tree growth in that area.
The notification is intended to achieve the above object.
