സംഗ്രഹം ഇൻഫർമേഷൻ & പബ്ലിക് റിലേഷൻസ് വകുപ്പ് - കേരള മീഡിയ അക്കാഡമി-സർക്കാർ ഗ്രാന്റുകളോടെ, ഇൻഫർമേഷൻ & പബ്ലിക് റിലേഷൻസ് വകപ്പിന്റെ ഭരണ നിയന്ത്രണത്തിൽ പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്ന സ്വയംഭരണ മാധ്യമ പഠന ഗവേഷണ സ്ഥാപനമാണെന്നു പ്രസ്താവിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് -ഉത്തരവ് പുറപ്പെടുവിക്കുന്നു.

കേരള മീഡിയ അക്കാദമിയുടെ കീഴിൽ വിവിധ മീഡിയാ കോഴ്സുകൾ നടത്തുകയും ഫെല്ലോഷിപ്പ് പ്രോഗ്രാമുകളിലൂടെ മാധ്യമ മേഖലയിലെ ഗവേഷണവും വികസനവും പ്രോത്സാഹിപ്പിക്കുകയും ചെയ്ത് വരുന്ന ഇൻസ്റ്റിറ്റൂട്ട് ഓഫ് കമ്മ്യൂണിക്കേഷൻ സ്ഥാപനത്തിന്റെ ഔദ്യോഗികാവശ്യങ്ങൾക്കും, അർഹരായ വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾക്ക് ഇ-ഗ്രാന്റ് ലഭിക്കുന്നതിനും AISHE രജിസ്നേഷേൻ പൂർത്തീകരിക്കുന്നതിന്റെ ഭാഗമായി കേരള മീഡിയ അക്കാദമി സർക്കാർ ഗ്രാന്റുകളോടെ ഇൻഫർമേഷൻ & പബ്ലിക് റിലേഷൻസ് വകുപ്പിന്റെ ഭരണ നിയന്ത്രണത്തിൽ പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്ന സ്വയംഭരണ മാധ്യമ പഠന ഗവേഷണ ഗ്രാന്റ് - ഇൻ - എയിഡ് സ്ഥാപനമാണെന്ന് പ്രസ്താവിച്ച് ഗസറ്റ് വിജ്ഞാപനം പുറപ്പെടുവിക്കുന്നതിനുള്ള നടപടി സ്വീകരിക്കുവാൻ അഭ്യർത്ഥിച്ച് പരാമർശം (4) പ്രകാരം അക്കാദമി സെക്രട്ടറി ശിപാർശ സമർപ്പിക്കുകയുണ്ടായി.
2) സർക്കാർ ഇക്കാര്യം വിശദമായി പരിശോധിച്ചു. പരാമർശം (3) ലെ ഉത്തരവിന് അനുസൃതമായി കേരള മീഡിയാ അക്കാദമി, സർക്കാർ ഗ്രാന്റുകളോടെ, ഇൻഫർമേഷൻ & പബ്ലിക് റിലേഷൻസ് വകുപ്പിന്റെ ഭരണ നിയന്ത്രണത്തിൽ പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്ന സ്വയംഭരണ മാധ്യമ പഠന ഗവേഷണ സ്ഥാപനമാണെന്നു ഇതിനാൽ ഉത്തരവ് പുറപെടുവിക്കുന്നു.

(MS) No. 2/2016/I&PRD, dtd., 30/01/2016 (4) Lr. No.223/E/2023/KMA., dtd., 19/10/2023, 19/03/2024, 24/05/2024 from the Secretary, Kerala Media Academy.
ORDER
As per letter read as 4th paper above, the Secretary, Kerala Media Academy has stated that the Institute of Communications of Kerala Media Academy conducts various media related courses and promotes research and development in the field of media through fellowship programmes. In order to complete AISHE registration purposes for enabling sanction of e-Grants to eligible students, it is necessary to issue Gazette notification stating Kerala Media Academy-Institute of Communications is an autonomous media studies and research Grant-in-Aid Institution, functioning under the Department of Information & Public Relations Department, Government of Kerala.
Government have examined the matter in detail and sanction is accorded to issue Gazette notification in tune with order read as 3rd paper above, stating Kerala Media Academy-Institute of Communications is an autonomous media studies and research grant-in-aid Institution, functioning under the Department of Information & Public Relations Department, Government of Kerala.
