ORDER
G.O. (Rt.) No. 1270/2024/LBR. Thiruvananthapuram, 12th December 2024.
Whereas, the Government are of opinion that an industrial dispute exists between (1) The Managing Director, Kerala Small Industries Development Corporation Limited (SIDCO), PB No. 50, Housing Board Building, Shanthinagar, Thiruvananthapuram-1 and workers of the above referred establishment (1) Smt. Beenakumari, P. S., Worker Grade-1, Govt. Instrument Workshop, Pappanamcode (2) Sri Binu, M., Worker Grade-1, Govt. Wood Working Unit, Pappanamcode (3) Sri Vinod, S., Worker Grade-1, Raw Material Department, Pappanamcode,(4) Sri Sujith Sundaresan, Worker Grade-1, Govt. Wood Working Unit, Pappanamcode, (5) Sri Sreejith, Worker Grade-1, Govt. Instrument Workshop, Pappanamcode, (6) Sri Sarath, S., Worker Grade-1, SIDCO Tools, Umayanalloor, Kollam, (7) Sri Anilmoney, A. M., Worker Grade-1, SIDCO Marketing Centre, Olloor, Thrissur, (8) Sri Sajeesh, K. P., Worker Grade-1 Govt. Wood Workshop, Puthiyathura, (9) Sri Rakesh Mohan, Worker Grade-1, Govt.Wood Workshop, Kollakkadavu, Alappuzha, (10) Sri Bijukumar, Worker Grade-1, Straw Board Factory, Parumala, Thiruvalla and the workers of the above referred establishment represented by (11) the General Secretary, Kerala SIDCO Workers Congress, T. C. 20/258, Chekkittavilakam, Melarannoor, Karamana P. O., Thiruvananthapuram-12 in respect of matters mentioned in the annexure to this order;
And whereas, in the opinion of Government it is necessary to refer the said industrial dispute for adjudication;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 10(1) (c) of the Industrial Disputes Act of 1947 (Central Act XIV of 1947) the Government here by direct that the said industrial dispute be referred for adjudication to the Labour Court, Kollam. The Labour Court will pass the award within a period of three months.
ANNEXURE
"Whether the defer in promotion of skilled workers grade 1 to the post of charge hand/ CNC operator in Kerala Small Industries Development Corporation Ltd, PB No-50, Housing Board Junction, Santhinagar, Thiruvananthapuram-1 by the management is justifiable? If not, what reliefs the employees entitled to ?"
