NOTIFICATION
G.O. (P) No. 124/2024/H&FWD

In exercise of the powers conferred under subsection (1) of section 22 of the National Commission for Allied and Healthcare Professions Act, 2021 (No.14 of 2021), the Government of Kerala hereby make the following amendment to the notification issued under G.O. (P) No. 53/2022/H&FWD dated 28th September, 2022 and published as S.R.O. No. 924/2022 in the Kerala Gazette Extraordinary No. 3327 dated 28th September, 2022, namely: -
2AMENDMENT
In the said notification, in serial number "5, Two persons representing each of the recognized categories specified in the schedule of the Act", -
(1) under the heading " (iii) "Nutrition Science Professional", -
(i) the existing entry shall be numbered as item (a);
(ii) after after item (a) so numbered, the following shall be
inserted, namely:-
"(b) Smt Shanida Asmi, - Member
Dietician Gr.I, Govt. General
Hospital,Kozhikode.
(2) after item number (v), the following item shall be inserted, namely:-
(vi) Occupational Therapy Professional
(a) Sri Joseph Sunny - Member
Occupational Therapist, Door No. 305,
National Excellency, Kalavath Road,
Palarivattom, Kochi.
(vii) Medical Radiology, Imaging and Therapeutic Technology
Professional
(a) Sri Deepu Mathews, - Member
Radiographer, Govt. Medical College,
Kozhikode.

3Explanatory Note
(This does not form part of the notification, but is intended to indicate its general purport.)
As per sub-section (1) of section 22 of the National Commission for Allied and Healthcare Professions Act, 2021 (No.14 of 2021), the Government of Kerala have constituted the Kerala State Allied and Healthcare Council vide G.O.(P) No.53/2022/H&FWD dated 28th September, 2022 and published as S.R.O. No. 924/2022 in the Kerala Gazette Extraordinary No.3327 dated 28th September, 2022. In the above said notification, the members representing each of the recognized he recognized categories specified in the Schedule of the Act to be nominated by the State Government having such qualifications and experience are not included as members. Hence, the Government have decided to nominate the above said persons representing each of the recognized categories specified in the Schedule of the Act as members of the said Council by amending the said notification.
This notification is intended to achieve the above object.
