In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) and (3) of section 21 of the Haj Committee Act, 2002 (Central Act 35 of 2002), the Government of Kerala hereby notify the election ofDr. Hussain Sakhafi Chullikkodu as the Chairperson of the Kerala State Haj Committee in the first meeting of the said Committee reconstituted as per notifications issued under G.O.(P) This is a digitally signed Gazette. Explanatory Note

(This does not form part of the notification, but is intended to indicate its general purport.) The State Government have re-constituted the Kerala State Haj Committee as per the notification issued under G.O.(P)No.38/2024/GAD dated 22nd November, 2024 and published as S.R.O. No.1064/2024 in the Kerala Gazette Extraordinary No.3723 dated 22nd November, 2024. The meeting of the said Committee was held on 10th December, 2024 and unanimously elected Dr. Hussain Sakhafi Chullikkodu as the Chairperson of the newly re-constituted Kerala State Haj Committee. As per sub- sections (1) and (3) of section 21 of the Haj Committee Act, 2002 (Central Act 35 of 2002), the election of the Chairperson shall be notified by the State Government in the official Gazette of the State.

The notification is intended to achieve the above object.
