വിജ്ഞാപനത്തിലെV പട്ടി(cid:2)യി്‍െ ഗ്രപകേത്യ(cid:2)ം പറഞ്ഞിട്ടുളള പാ4ാൈട് കേRാറസ്റ്റ് ഡിവിഷനി്‍െ ഉള്‍ ചെപ്പട്ടിട്ടുളള സ്ഥ4ം നി്േഷിത്ര വനത്തിലെV ഭാ/വും പാ4ാൈട് കേRാറസ്റ്റ് ട്രൈഗ്രടബ്യൂണ4ിലെV ഒ.എ 1108/1974- ം നമ്പര്‍ കേ(cid:2)സി്‍െ ഉള്‍ചെപ്പട്ടതുമാണ്. ഒ.എ. നമ്പര്‍ 1108/1974-്‍െ പരാതിക്കാരന് ഗ്രപസ്തുത സ്ഥ4ം തിരിലെ(cid:2) 4ഭ്യമാക്കുവാന്‍ ഉത്തരവായിട്ടുളളതാണ്. അഗ്രപ(cid:2)ാരം ഭൂമി തിരിലെ(cid:2) ന്‍െ(cid:2)ുകേമ്പാള്‍, അവിചെടയുളള വൃ്േഷങ്ങള്‍ മുറിച്ചു മാറ്റുന്നതിന് സാധ്യതയുളളതിനാ4ും അത് അവിടലെത്ത മണ്ണ് സംര്േഷിക്കുന്നതിചെനയും ഈര്‍പ്രം നി4നിര്‍ത്തുന്നതിചെനയും ബാധിക്കുചെമന്നതിനാ4ും, പട്ടി(cid:2)യി്‍െ ഗ്രപകേത്യ(cid:2)ം പറഞ്ഞിട്ടുള്ള ഗ്രപസ്തുത ഗ്രപകേCശം 1986 -ലെ4 കേ(cid:2)രള വൃ്േഷ സംര്േഷണ ആ(cid:2)്റ്റിലെ4 (1986-ലെ4 35) 5- ം വ(cid:2)ുപ്പിലെV പരിധിയി്‍െ ലെ(cid:2)ാണ്ടുവന്ന് ആ ഗ്രപകേCശലെത്ത വൃ്േഷസമ്പത്ത് സംര്േഷിക്കുന്നതിന് സര്‍ാൈര്‍ തീരുമാനിച്ചു.
കേമല്പറഞ്ഞ 4്േഷ്യം നിറകേവറ്റുന്നതിന് ഉകേPശിച്ചുലെ(cid:2)ാണ്ടുള്ളതാണ് ഈ വിജ്ഞാപനം.

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 5 of the Kerala Preservation of Trees Act, 1986 (35 of 1986), the Government of Kerala hereby direct that no tree standing in the area specified in the Schedule below, shall be cut, uprooted, burnt or otherwise destroyed except on the ground that,-
(a) the tree constitutes a danger to life or property or
(b) the tree is dead, diseased or wind-fallen.

6Explanatory Note
(This does not form part of the notification, but is intended to indicate its general purport.) The area specified in the Schedule to the notification comprised in Forest Division, Palakkad is involved in the case of O. A. No. 1108/1974 of Forest Tribunal, Palakkad is part of vested forest.
In O. A. No. 1108/1974, it was ordered to get the said area restored to the petitioner. On such restoration, it is likely to cut and remove the available trees, which will affect soil conversion and moisture retention in the area, the Government have decided to bring the said area specified in the Schedule under the purview of Section 5 of the Kerala Preservation of Trees Act, 1986 (35 of 1986) and thereby to preserve the tree growth in that area.
The notification is intended to achieve the above object.
