WHEREAS, under the provisions of subrule (1) of Rule 183 of the Kerala Cooperative Societies Rules, 1969, a candidate for appointment by direct recruitment must have completed eighteen years and must not have completed forty years of age on the 1st January of the calendar year in which the
2applications for appointment are invited. Provided that the upper age limit shall be raised by five years in the case of candidate belonging to any of the Scheduled Caste /Scheduled Tribe and by three years in the case of candidate belonging to any of the Other Backward Classes;
AND WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the Kankol Village Vanitha Service Cooperative Society Limited No.C.1818 in Kannur District has resolved to request the Government to exempt the said society from the provisions of sub rule (1) of Rule 183 of the Kerala Cooperative Societies Rules, 1969 for the purpose of appointing Smt. Beena T.M, whose date of birth is 7 th March, 1974 as Attender in the said society taking into consideration of her service in the said society;
AND WHEREAS, the Registrar of Cooperative Societies has submitted the proposal to the Government to exempt the said society from the provisions of subrule (1) of Rule 183 of the said Rules for the limited purpose of appointing Smt. Beena T.M as Attender in the said society;
AND WHEREAS, the Government have considered the matter in detail and are satisfied that it is necessary to exempt the Kankol Village Vanitha Service Co operative Society Limited No.C.1818 in Kannur District from the provisions of subrule (1) of Rule 183 of the Kerala Cooperative Societies Rules, 1969 so as to enable the said society to appoint Smt. Beena T.M as Attender in the said society;
NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by rule 181 of the Kerala Cooperative Societies Rules, 1969, the Government of Kerala hereby exempt the Kankol Village Vanitha Service Cooperative Society Limited No.C.1818 in Kannur District from the provisions of subrule (1) of Rule 183 of the said Rules, so as to enable the said society to appoint Smt. Beena T.M as Attender in the said society taking into consideration of her service in the said society.

3Explanatory Note

As per subrule (1) of rule 183 of the Kerala Cooperative Societies Rules, 1969, a candidate for appointment by direct recruitment must have completed eighteen years of age and must not have completed forty years of age on the first day of January of the calender year in which the application for appointment are invited. Provided that the upper age limit shall be raised by five years in the case of candidate belonging to any of the Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe and by three years in the case of candidates belonging to any of the Other Backward Classes. The Board of Directors of the Kankol Village Vanitha Service Co operative Society Limited No.C.1818 in Kannur District has resolved to request the Government to exempt the said society from the provisions of subrule (1) of Rule 183 of the Kerala Cooperative Societies Rules, 1969, for the purpose of appointing Smt. Beena T.M as Attender in the said society for taking into consideration of her services in the said society. The Government have considered the matter in detail and have decided to exempt the said society from the above provisions of the sub rule(1) of rule 183 of the Kerala Cooperative Societies Rules, 1969, for the purpose of enabling the said society to appoint Smt. Beena T.M as Attender in the said society.
This order is intended to achieve the above object.
