Thiruvananthapuram, S. R. O. No. 1/2025In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 25 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 (Central Act 30 of 2013), the Government of Kerala hereby extend the time limit in publishing the Award as per Section 25 to the Declaration issued under subsection(1) of Section 19 as per Proceedings No. K3-195999/19 dated 02nd December 2023 and published in the Extra Ordinary Gazette No. 3939 dated 04 th December 2023 namely:- This is a digitally signed Gazette. As per Proceedings No. K3-195999/19 dated 02nd December 2023 and published in the Extra Ordinary Gazette No. 3939 dated 04th December 2023 , the Declaration in accordance with the provisions of subsection (1) of Section 19 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 with regard to the acquisition of 0.5043 Hectares of land in Vakkom and Anjuthengu Villages of Thiruvananthapuram district for the construction of Kayikkara bridge across TS canal has been issued.

AND WHEREAS, the District Collector, Thiruvananthapuram has reported that as per Section 25 of LARR Act, 2013 mentions that the Collector shall make an Award within a period of 12 months from the date of issuance of 19(1) Declaration ie, the 19(1) Declaration issued as per Proceedings No. K3-195999/19 dated 02nd December 2023 and published in the Extra Ordinary Gazette No. 3939 dated 04th December 2023, expired on 03/12/2024, and therefore requested to extend the time limit in publishing the Award.

NOW THEREFORE, sanction is accorded to extend the time limit in publishing the Award for a further period of 6 months from the date of expiry of the 19(1) Declaration ie. 03/12/2024 by invoking the provisions contained in 1st proviso to Section 25 of the LARR Act, 2013 with regard to the acquisition of 0.5043 Hectares of land in Vakkom and Anjuthengu Villages of Thiruvananthapuram district for the construction of Kayikkara bridge across TS canal.

(This does not form part of the notification, but is intended to indicate its general purport) Proceedings No. K3-195999/19 dated 02nd December 2023 and published in the Extra Ordinary Gazette No. 3939 dated 04th December 2023, has been issued in accordance with the provisions of subsection (1) of section 19 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 with regard to the acquisition of 0.5043 Hectares of land in Vakkom and Anjuthengu Villages of Thiruvananthapuram district for the construction of Kayikkara bridge across TS canal. As per Section 25 of LARR Act, 2013 mentions that the Collector shall make an Award within a period of 12 months from the date of issuance of 19(1) Declaration ie, the 19(1) Declaration issued as per Proceedings No. K3-195999/19 dated 02nd December 2023 and published in the Extra Ordinary Gazette No. 3939 dated 04 th December 2023, expired on 03/12/2024 and hereby extend the time limit for publishing the Award.

The notification is intended to achieve the above object.
