In exercise of the powers conferred by section 5 of the Road Transport Corporation Act, 1950 (Central Act 64 of 1950) read with rules 3 and 4 of the Kerala State Road Transport Corporation Rules, 1965, the Government of Kerala hereby make the following amendment to the notification issued under G.O.(P) No.22/2021/TRANS dated 30th July, 2021 and published as S.R.O. No. 587/2021 in the KeralaGazette Extraordinary No. 2310 dated 3rd  August, 2021, namely:- This is a digitally signed Gazette. A M E N D M E N T

In the said notification, for serial number 4 and the entry against it, the following serial number and entry shall respectively be substituted, namely:-

" 4. Shri. Ch.Nagaraju, IPS,                                  Director (Official)

Transport Commissioner.                                                               ".

Explanatory Note

(This does not form part of the notification, but is intended to indicate its general purport.) The Board of Directors of the Kerala State Road Transport Corporation was reconstituted as per G.O.(P) No. 22/2021/TRANS dated 30th July, 2021 and published as S.R.O. No. 587/2021 in the Kerala Gazette Extraordinary No. 2310 dated 3rd August, 2021. Shri S. Sreejith IPS was a Director (Official)   of   the   said   Board.  Later,  Shri.   S.   Sreejith   IPS   was   transferred   as   per   G.O.(Rt)   No. 3573/2024/GAD   dated   8th  August,   2024   and   Shri.   Ch.Nagaraju,   IPS   was   posted   as   Transport Commissioner in the place of Shri S. Sreejith IPS as per G.O.(Rt) No. 4104/2024/GAD dated 10th September, 2024. Consequential amendments are to be effected in the notification published as S.R.O. 587/2021.

The notification is intended to achieve the above object.
