Thiruvananthapuram, S. R. O. No. 31/2025In exercise of the powers conferred by 1st proviso to Section 25 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 (Central Act 30 of 2013), the Government of Kerala hereby extend the time limit in publishing the Award as per Section 25 to the Declaration issued under subsection (1) of Section 19 as per Proceedings No. C2-2381/19/DCEKM dated 22nd June 2023 and published in the Extra Ordinary Gazette No. 2106 dated 23rd June 2023 namely :- This is a digitally signed Gazette. As per Proceedings No. C2-2381/19/DCEKM dated 22nd June 2023 and published in the Extra Ordinary Gazette No. 2106 dated 23rd June 2023, the Declaration in accordance with the provisions of subsection (1) of Section 19 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 with regard to the acquisition of land in Ernakulam & Elamkulam villages of Ernakulam district for the construction of Atlantis ROB has been issued.

AND WHEREAS, the District Collector, Ernakulam has reported that Section 25 of LARR Act, 2013 mentions that the Collector shall make an Award within a period of 12 months from the date of issuance of 19(1) Declaration ie, the 19(1) Declaration issued as per Proceedings No. C2- 2381/19/DCEKM dated 22nd June 2023 and published in the Extra Ordinary Gazette No. 2106 dated 23rd June 2023 and extended as per G.O.(P)No. 185/2024/RD dated 17th August 2024 and published in the Extra Ordinary Gazette No. 2872 dated 06th September 2024 expired on 21.12.2024, and therefore requested to extend the time limit in publishing the Award.

NOW THEREFORE, sanction is accorded to extend the time limit in publishing the Award for a further period of six months from the date of expiry of the 19(1) Declaration ie 21.12.2024, by invoking the provisions contained in 1st proviso to Section 25 of the LARR Act, 2013 with regard to the acquisition of land in Ernakulam & Elamkulam villages of Ernakulam district for the construction of Atlantis ROB, as the last chance on the condition that no more extension be granted under any circumstances.

(This does not form part of the notification, but is intended to indicate its general purport) Proceedings No. C2-2381/19/DCEKM dated 22nd June 2023 and published in the Extra Ordinary Gazette No. 2106 dated 23rd June 2023, has been issued in accordance with the provisions of subsection (1) of section 19 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 with regard to the acquisition of land in Ernakulam & Elamkulam villages of Ernakulam district for the construction of Atlantis ROB.
