WHEREAS it has become necessary to reconstitute the Faculties of Kannur University, as per the Section 28(3) of Kannur University Act 1996, it is hereby notified that Election will be held according to the principle of proportional representation by means of asingle transferable vote and in accordance with the procedure laid down in Chapter XLVI of This is a digitally signed Gazette. the Faculties of Kannur University'.

Date & hour for scrutiny of nominations	27-01-2025 (11.00 am)
Date of publication of list of validly nominated candidates	27-01-2025
Last date & hour for withdrawal of candidature	31-01-2025 (11.00 am)
Date of Publication of Final list of Candidates	31-01-2025
Date of Issue of ballot paper	On or before 17-02-2025
Last date & hour for receipt of ballot paper by the Registrar & Returning Officer	04-03-2025 (4.00 pm)
Date, hour & place of scrutiny and counting of votes	06-03-2025 (11.00 am) Thavakkara Campus.

Prescribed form for filing nomination can be had, free of cost, from the Registrar & Returning Officer on written application by an Elector whose name is in the Electoral Roll published for the purpose. The nomination paper should reach the Registrar & Returning Officer, Kannur University, Civil Station (P.O), Kannur - 670002 between 11.00 AM and 3.00 PM on any working day before the last date and hour fixed.
