In exercise of the powers conferred by section 4 of the Family Courts Act 1984,(Central Act
2 appoint the persons mentioned in column (2) of the schedule below as Judges of the Family Courts at the places mentioned against each in column (4) thereof, with effect from the date on which theyassume charge as such:

Explanatory Note
(This does not form part of the notification, but is intended to indicate its general purport.) The High Court has decided to fill up the vacancies of Judges, Family Courts, by the appointment of retired District Judges. Government have accepted the proposal of the High Court.
The notification is intended to achieve the above object.
