WHEREAS, the Government of Kerala have appointed Shri Suresh Babu Thomas, Advocate, Roll No. K/439/1979, Koduvathu House, Kollad P.O., Kottayam as Special Public Prosecutor for the conduct of prosecution in Crime No. 1016/2021 of Pulikeezhu Police Station as per notification issued under G.O.(Rt)No.3597/2021/Home dated 30th December, 2021 and published as S.R.O.No.1021/2021 in the Kerala Gazette Extraordinary No.3880 dated 31 st This is a digitally signed Gazette. Authenticity may be verified through https://compose.kerala.gov.in/ 2 December, 2021;

AND WHEREAS, Shri Suresh Babu Thomas has submitted his resignation from conducting the prosecution of the said case and the Government have decided to accept his resignation;

NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub -section (8) of section 18 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (Central Act 46 of 2023) read with sub-rules (2), (3) and (4) of rule 11 of the Kerala Government Law Officers (Appointment and Conditions of Services) and Conduct of Cases Rules, 1978 and in supersession of the notification issued under G.O.(Rt)No.3597/2021/Home dated 30th December, 2021 and published as S.R.O.No.1021/2021 in the Kerala Gazette Extraordinary No.3880 dated 31st December, 2021, the Government of Kerala hereby appoint Shri Navin M Easow, Advocate, Roll No.K/273/1996, Nirayannoor House, Kumpalampoika P.O., Pathanamthitta District as Special Public Prosecutor for the conduct of prosecution in Crime No. 1016/2021 of Pulikkeezhu Police Station on payment of fee prescribed in item 10 of rule 32 of the Kerala Government Law Officers (Appointment and Condition of Service) and Conduct of Cases Rules, 1978.

Explanatory Note

Government have decided to accept the resignation of Shri Suresh Babu Thomas, Advocate as Special Public Prosecutor from conducting the prosecution in Crime No. 1016/2021 of Pulikkeezhu Police Station and have decided to a p p o i n t Shri Navin M Easow, Advocate, Roll No.K/273/1996, Nirayannoor House, Kumpalampoika P.O., Pathanamthitta District as Special Public Prosecutor for the conduct of prosecution in the said case on payment of fee prescribed in item 10 of rule 32 of the Kerala Government Law Officers (Appointment and Conditions of Service) and Conduct of Cases Rules, 1978.

The notification is intended to achieve the above object.
