Thiruvananthapuram, In exercise of the powers conferred by 2nd proviso of subsection 7 of section 19 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 (Central Act 30 of 2013), the Government of Kerala hereby extend the
2time limit in publishing the declaration as per sub-section 1 of section 19 to the Notification issued under sub-section (1) of section 11 as per G.O(P) No. 96/2022/RD dated 16th March, 2022 and published in the Extra Ordinary Gazette No. 859 dated 16th March, 2022 namely :-

G.O(P) No. 96/2022/RD dated 16th March, 2022 and published in the Extra Ordinary Gazette No. 859 dated 16th March, 2022 has been issued in accordance with the provisions of sub-section (1) of section 11 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 with regard to the acquisition of land in Elanji Village of Ernakulam district for Elanji Technical High School.
AND WHEREAS, the District Collector, Ernakulam has reported that as per Section 19(7) of LARR Act, 2013 mentions that the 19(1) Declaration has to be published within 12 months from the date of issuance of 11(1) Notification (preliminary notification) and that the 11(1) Notification issued as per G.O(P) No. 96/2022/RD dated 16th March, 2022 and published in the Extra Ordinary Gazette No. 859 dated 16th March, 2022 and extended as per G.O.(P)No.44/2023/RD dated 14th February, 2023 and published in the Kerala Gazette Extraordinary No. 524 dated 14th February, 2023, G.O.(P)No. 215/2023/RD dated 05th September, 2023 and published in the Kerala Gazette Extraordinary No. 2894 dated 07th September, 2023 and G.O.(P)No.97/2024/RD dated 13th March 2024 and published in the Kerala Gazette Extraordinary No. 967 dated 13th March 2024 expired on 16.09.2024 and therefore requested to extend the time limit for publishing the 19(1) Declaration.
NOW THEREFORE, sanction is accorded to extend the time limit in publishing the declaration for a further period of six months from the date of expiry of the 11(1) Notification ie, 16.09.2024, by invoking the provisions contained in 2 nd proviso to Section 19(7) of the LARR Act, 2013 with regard to the acquisition of land in Elanji Village of Ernakulam district for Elanji Technical High School.

The notification is intended to achieve the above object.
