In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of sub-section (1) of section 9 of the Kerala Stamp Act, 1959 (17 of 1959), the Government of Kerala, being of the opinion that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby remit the stamp duty chargeable under the said Act for the registration of the instruments of conveyance of an extent of 213.26 cents of land comprised in Re-Survey No. 52/2,3, T.S.No. 180 of 181-Vayalalam Desam of Thiruvangad Village in Thalassery This is a digitally signed Gazette. Explanatory Note

(This does not form part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general purport.) The Director, Malabar Cancer Centre – Post Graduate Institute of Oncology Sciences & Research has requested the Government to grant exemption from payment of stamp duty required for the registration of the instruments of conveyance of an extent of 213.26 cents of land comprised in Re-Survey No. 52/2,3, T.S.No. 180 of 181-Vayalalam Desam of Thiruvangad Village in Thalassery Taluk in Kannur District at free of cost to the Malabar Cancer Centre- Post Graduate Institute of Oncology Sciences and Research by Dr. Hermann Gundert Foundation. The Government have decided to allow the request on public interest.

The order is intended to achieve the above object.
