Thiruvananthapuram, S. R. O. No. 96/2025In exercise of the powers conferred by 2nd proviso to subsection 7 of section 19 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 (Central Act 30 of 2013), the Government of Kerala hereby extend the time limit in publishing the declaration as per sub-section 1 of section 19 to the Notification issued under sub-section (1) of section 11 as per Proceedings No. G2- 920/2019 dated 11th November, 2022 and published in the Extra Ordinary Gazette No. 3826 dated 14th November, 2022, namely:- This is a digitally signed Gazette. Proceedings No. G2- 920/2019 dated 11th November, 2022 and published in the Extra Ordinary Gazette No. 3826 dated 14th November, 2022 has been issued in accordance with the provisions of sub-section (1) of section 11 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 with regard to the acquisition of land in Harippad & Viyyapuram Villages of Alappuzha District for the construction of ROB in lieu of Railway LC No. 115 between Ambalapuzha & Haripad stations.

AND WHEREAS, the District Collector, Alappuzha has reported that as per Section 19 (7) of LARR Act, 2013, the 19 (1) Declaration has to be published within 12 months from the date of issuance of 11(1) Notification (preliminary notification) and that the 11(1) Notification issued as per Proceedings No. G2- 920/2019 dated 11th November, 2022 and published in the Extra Ordinary Gazette No. 3826 dated 14th November, 2022 and extended as per G.O. (P)No.290/2023/RD dated 15th November 2023 and published in the Extra Ordinary Gazette No. 3671 dated 15th November 2023 and G.O.(P)No. 160/2024/RD dated 20th July 2024 and published in the Extra Ordinary Gazette No. 2450 dated 30th July 2024 expired on 13/11/2024 and therefore requested to extend the time limit for publishing the 19(1) Declaration.

NOW THEREFORE, sanction is accorded to extend the time limit in publishing the Declaration for a further period of 6 months from the date of expiry of the 11(1) notification ie, 13/11/2024 by invoking the provisions contained in 2nd proviso to Section 19(7) of the LARR Act, 2013 with regard to the acquisition of land in Harippad & Viyyapuram Villages of Alappuzha District for the construction of ROB in lieu of Railway LC No. 115 between Ambalapuzha & Haripad stations.
