In exercise of the powers conferred by Article 229 of the Constitution of India, the Honourable the Chief Justice hereby makes the following amendment to the Kerala High Court Service Rules, 2007, namely:
Amendment (C. S. No. 96)
"In the Rules
1. In Rule 4, under Division I, in Sub Division 7A, after Category 1 and before Category 2, a new entry "1A. Junior Technical Officer" shall be inserted.
2. In Annexure I, under Division I, in Sub Division 7A, after Category1 and before Category 2, the following shall be inserted in column (1) to (5):—

7A 1A Junior Direct Educational: Technical Recruitment
Officer MCA/B.E/B.Tech in CS/IT/Electronics.
(Full time regular) Desirable: Relevant certifications and exposure to Legal domain
Experience:
5+ years in IT project delivery with 3+ years leading and managing software project teams
Technical skills •Experience leading and managing enterprise class
software development projects
•Experience in Business Analysis and requirements
management.
•Technical experience in Web Application Development
•Experience in all aspects of SDLC from requirement analysis, architecture design, coding, testing, maintenance.
•Exposure to application deployment,maintenance
and operations.
•Exposure to network and server system architecture.
•Exposure to software engineering processes,
audits and metrics.
The above notification shall come into force with immediate effect.

(This note does not form part of the incorporation, but is intended to indicate its general purport.) The Government, vide G. O.(Ms.) No. 78/2025/Home date 11-4-2025 accorded sanction for the creation of a new post of Junior Technical Officer (JTO) in the Permanent IT cadre in the High Court Service, in the scale of pay of ` 63700-123700, to assist the Principal Technical Officer (PTO), High Court. The Honourable the Chief Justice has ordered to amend the Kerala High Court Service Rules, 2007. Hence this amendment.
