In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section (8) of section 18 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (Central Act 46 of 2023) read with sub-rules (2), (3) and (4) of rule 11 of the Kerala Government Law Officers (Appointment and Conditions of Service) and Conduct of CasesRules, 1978, the Government of Kerala hereby appoint Shri Joseph Thomas, Advocate, Roll No.K/63/1987, PSSP Associates 'Pranavam', Puthiyara P.O., Thiruthiyad, Kozhikode - 673004, as This is a digitally signed Gazette. Authenticity may be verified through https://compose.kerala.gov.in/

2 Special Public Prosecutor for the conduct of prosecution in Crime No.462/2016 of Kuttiyadi Police Station, Kozhikode District on the condition that the petitioner (Smt.Janu Amma) shall bear the fee and

other incidental expenses of the Special Public Prosecutor.

Explanatory Note

(This does not form part of the notification, but is intended to indicate its general purport.) Government considers it necessary to appoint Shri Joseph Thomas, Advocate, Roll No.K/63/1987, PSSP Associates 'Pranavam', Puthiyara P.O., Thiruthiyad, Kozhikode - 673004, who is having the requisite qualification, as Special Public Prosecutor for the conduct of prosecution in Crime No.462/2016 of Kuttiyadi Police Station, Kozhikode District on the condition that the petitioner (Smt.Janu Amma) will bear the fee and other incidental expenses of the Special Public Prosecutor.

The notification is intended to achieve the above object.
