WHEREAS, Shri C.S.Ajayan, Advocate, Roll No.K/720/1987,Chengalakaattu House, Puthuppally P.O., Kottayam, as Special PublicProsecutor for the conduct of prosecution in Crime No. 1555/2021 of Karukachal Police Station as per notification issued under G.O.(Rt.) No. 2458/2022/Home dated 3rd September, 2022 and published as S.R.O. No. 865/2022 in the Kerala Gazette Extraordinary No.3021 dated 5th September, 2022;
2AND WHEREAS, Shri C.S Ajayan has submitted his resignation from the engagement as Special Public Prosecutor in the above said cases;
AND WHEREAS, the Government have decided accept the resignation of Shri C.S.Ajayan, Advocate as Special Public Prosecutor from conducting the prosecution of the above said case and have decided to appoint Shri Santhosh Kesavanath P., Advocate as Special Public Prosecutor in the said case;
NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section (8) of section 18 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (Central Act 46 of 2023) read with sub-rules (2), (3) and (4) of rule 11 of the Kerala Government Law Officers (Appointment and Conditions of Service) and Conduct of Cases Rules, 1978, and in supersession of the notification issued under G.O.(Rt.) No. 2458/2022/Home dated 3rd September, 2022 and published as S.R.O. No. 865/2022 in the Kerala Gazette Extraordinary No.3021 dated 5th September, 2022 the Government of Kerala hereby appoint Shri Santhosh Kesavanath P., Advocate, Roll No. K/1201/1998, Near East Police Station, Channanickadu Complex, Collectorate P.O., Kottayam - 02, as Special Public Prosecutor for the conduct of prosecution in Crime No. 1555/2021 of Karukachal Police Station on payment of fees prescribed in item 10 of rule 32 of the Kerala Government Law Officers (Appointment and Conditions of Service) and Conduct of Cases Rules,1978.

Explanatory Note
(This does not form part of the notification, but is intended to indicate its general purport.) Government have decided to accept the resignation of Shri C.S. Ajayan, Advocate, Roll No.K/720/1987, Chengalakaattu House,Puthuppally P.O., Kottayam as Special Public Prosecutor from conducting the prosecution in Crime No. 1555/2021 of Karukachal Police Station and have decided to appoint Shri Santhosh Kesavanath P., Advocate, Roll No. K/1201/1998, Near East Police Station, Channanickadu Complex, Collectorate P.O., Kottayam - 02, who is having the requisite qualification as Special Public Prosecutor for the conduct of prosecution in the said cases on payment
3of fees prescribed in item 10 of rule 32 of the Kerala Government Law Officers (Appointment and Conditions of Service) and Conduct of Cases Rules, 1978.
The notification is intended to achieve the above object.
