NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (b) of section 4, 5 and 6 of the Kerala State Housing Board Act, 1971 (19 of 1971) the Government of Kerala hereby appoint Smt. Shiji E. Chandran, Chief Town Planner – General as an official member of the Kerala State Housing Board in the place of Smt. Beena Philipose, Regional Chief, Housing and Urban DevelopmentCorporation Ltd., Thiruvananthapuram, and make the following consequential amendment to the notification issued under G.O.(Ms.)No.4/2022/Hsg. dated 26th February, 2022 and This is a digitally signed Gazette. Authenticity may be verified through https://compose.kerala.gov.in/

AMENDMENT

In the said notification, for the entries against serial No.3, the following entries shall be substituted, namely:-

"Smt. Shiji E. Chandran, : Official Member".

Explanatory Note

(This does not form part of the notification, but is intended to indicate its general purport.) Government have issued notification under G.O.(Ms.) No.7/2023/Hsg. dated 28th November, 2023 and published as S.R.O.No.1285/2023 in the Kerala Gazette Extraordinary No.3879 dated 29th November, 2023, appointing Chief Town Planner as an official member of the Kerala State Housing Board in the place of Smt. Beena Philipose, Regional Chief, Housing and Urban Development Corporation Ltd., Thiruvananthapuram. But in the said notification the name and category of the Chief Town Planner was not specified. Therefore Government have decided to appoint Smt. Shiji E. Chandran, Chief Town Planner – General as an official member of the Kerala State Housing Board in the place of Smt. Beena Philipose, Regional Chief, Housing and Urban Development Corporation Ltd., Thiruvananthapuram, and to make consequential amendment to the notification published as S.R.O.No.179/2022 in the Kerala Gazette Extraordinary No.649 dated 28th February, 2022.

This notification is intended to achieve the above object.
