In partial modification to this office Notification (No.GS3.964/2024 dated 31.10.2025), on the constitution of Search Committee in relation to the appointment of the Vice Chancellor in the University of Calicut, the Chancellor of the University is pleased to order that Prof. R. Ramakumar, Professor, Centre for the Study of Developing Economies, School of Development Studies, Tata Institute of Social Sciences(TISS), Mumbai and presently a serving Member in the Kerala StateThis is a digitally signed Gazette. Planning Board shall be the nominee of the Senate , University of Calicut in the place of Dr Sabu. A. 2. The composition of Search Committee therefore is as follows:

(a). Prof. R. Ramakumar, (Nominee of the Senate) Professor, Centre for the Study of Developing Economies, School of Development Studies, Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) Mumbai 400 088

(b). Prof. G. U. Kulkarni, (Nominee of the Chancellor & Convenor of the Committee) Professor, Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Research Scientific Research (JNCASR), Bangalore 560 064

(c). Prof. Ravindra D. Kulkarni, (Nominee of the University Grants Commission) Vice Chancellor, University of Mumbai, Mahatma Gandhi Road, Mumbai 400 032.

3. The Search cum Selection Committee shall submit the panel of three to five persons with their names in the alphabetical order within a period of three months, from the date of this Notification.
