WHEREAS, the Government have appointed Shri Jose Mathew Thayyil, Advocate, Thayyil House, Velathussery P. O, Teekoy, Pin- 686 580 as Special Public Prosecutor in the Fast Track Special Court set up for the speedy disposal of rape cases and cases registered under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 (Central Act 32 of 2012) at Erattupetta;
2AND WHEREAS, the term of appointment of Shri. Jose Mathew Thayyil as Special Public Prosecutor in the above said Court has expired on 18th November, 2025;
AND WHEREAS, the Government have decided to extend his term of appointment as Special Public Prosecutor in the said Court with effect from 19th November,2025 up to 31th March,2026;
NOW THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section (1) of section 32 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 (Central Act 32 of 2012) the Government of Kerala hereby extend the term of appointment of Shri Jose Mathew Thayyil, Advocate, Thayyil House, Velathussery P. O, Teekoy, Pin- 686 580 as the Special Public Prosecutor in the Fast Track Special Court set up for the speedy disposal of rape cases and cases registered under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 (Central Act 32 of 2012) with effect from 19th November, 2025 upto 31st March, 2026 ;

Explanatory Note
(This does not form part of the notification, but is intended to indicate its general purport.) Government have appointed Shri Jose Mathew Thayyil, Advocate, Thayyil House, Velathussery P. O, Teekoy, Pin- 686 580 as Special Public Prosecutor in the Fast Track Special Court set up for the speedy disposal of rape cases and cases registered under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 (Central Act 32 of 2012) at Erattupetta as per notification issued under G.O.(Rt.) No.2755/2023/Home dated 29th September, 2023 and published as S.R.O No.1049/2023 in the Kerala Gazette Extra ordinary No.3188 dated 29th September, 2023. The Government have decided to extend the term of appointment of Shri Jose Mathew Thayyil, Advocate, Thayyil House, Velathussery P. O, Teekoy, Pin- 686 580 as the Special Public Prosecutor in the Fast Track Special Court set up for the speedy disposal of rape cases and cases registered under the Protection of
3Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 (Central Act 32 of 2012) at Erattupetta, Kottayam district, with effect from 19th November, 2025 upto 31st March, 2026.
The notification is intended to achieve the above object.
