In exercise of the powers conferred by 2nd proviso to subsection 7 of section 19 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 (Central Act 30 of 2013), the Government of Kerala hereby extend the time limit in publishing the declaration as per sub-section 1 of section 19 to the Notification issued under sub-section (1) of section 11 as per Proceedings No.K2-573926/23 dated 16th February 2024 and published in the Extra Ordinary Gazette No.613 dated 19th February 2024, namely:- This is a digitally signed Gazette. Proceedings No.K2-573926/23 dated 16th February 2024 and published in the Extra Ordinary Gazette No.613 dated 19th February 2024 has been issued in accordance with the provisions of subsection (1) of section 11 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 with regard to the acquisition of 19.70 ares of land in Thiruvallam Village of Thiruvananthapuram district for the construction of Panathura Steel Lattice Bridge.

AND WHEREAS, the District Collector, Thiruvananthapuram has reported that as per Section 19(7) of LARR Act, 2013 mentions that the 19(1) Declaration has to be published within 12 months from the date of issuance of 11(1) Notification (preliminary notification) and that the 11(1) Notification issued as per Proceedings No.K2-573926/23 dated 16th February 2024 and published in the Extra Ordinary Gazette No.613 dated 19th February 2024 and extended as per G.O.(P) No.74/2025/RD dated 22nd February 2025 and published in the Extra Ordinary Gazette No.1246 dated 29th March 2025 expired on 18/08/2025 and therefore requested to extend the time limit for publishing the 19(1) Declaration.

NOW THEREFORE, sanction is accorded to extend the time limit in publishing the Declaration for a further period of six months from the date of expiry of the 11(1) notification ie. 18/08/2025 by invoking the provisions contained in 2nd proviso to Section 19(7) of the LARR Act, 2013 with regard to the acquisition of 19.70 ares of land in Thiruvallam Village of Thiruvananthapuram district for the construction of Panathura Steel Lattice Bridge.

Proceedings No.K2-573926/23 dated 16th February 2024 and published in the Extra Ordinary Gazette No.613 dated 19th February 2024, has been issued in accordance with the provisions of subsection (1) of section 11 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 with regard to the acquisition of 19.70 ares of land in Thiruvallam Village of Thiruvananthapuram district for the construction of Panathura Steel Lattice Bridge. As per Section 19(7) of LARR Act, 2013, the 19(1) Declaration has to be published within 12 months from the date of issuance of 11(1) Notification (preliminary notification) and that the 11(1) Notification issued as per Proceedings No.K2-573926/23 dated 16th February 2024 and published in the Extra Ordinary Gazette No.613 dated 19th February 2024 and extended as per G.O.(P) No.74/2025/RD dated 22nd February 2025 and published in the Extra Ordinary Gazette No.1246 dated 29th March 2025 expired on 18/08/2025 and hereby extend the time limit for publishing the 19(1) Declaration.

The notification is intended to achieve the above object.
