In exercise of the powers conferred by section 4 of the Kerala Survey and Boundaries Act, 1961 (Act 37 of 1961), the Government of Kerala, hereby order the survey of the unsurveyed area in Thrissur District, Chavakkad Taluk, mentioned in the schedule, which lies to the east of the ArabianSea and adjacent to the Cadastrally surveyed area on the western side of the Manathala, Punnayur, and Edakkazhiyur Villages namely:- This is a digitally signed Gazette. District Taluk Village Description

Sl No.

1 Thrissur Chavakad Manathala

The area of land situated to the west of Survey Numbers 1, 2 and 360 of the said Village, and to the east of the Arabian Sea.

2 Thrissur Chavakad Punnayur

The area of land situated to the west of Survey Numbers 31, 32, 47, 50, 51, 64, 65 and 66 of the said Village, and to the east of the Arabian Sea

3 Thrissur Chavakad Edakkazhiyur

The area of land situated to the west of Survey Numbers 1, 27, 28, 29, 66, 67 and 318 of the said Village, and to the east of the Arabian Sea

Explanatory Note

(This does not form part of the notification, but is intended to indicate its general purport.) The area adjacent to coastal land situated outside the cadastral survey on the eastern side of the Arabian Sea and on the western side of Manathala, Punnayur and Edakkazhiyur Villages in Chavakkad Taluk of Thrissur District is unsurveyed. As this area is to be included in the Village records, the Survey of the said area is to be ordered by the Government under section 4 of the Kerala Survey and Boundaries Act, 1961 (37 of 1961).

This notification is intended to achieve the above object.
