ORDER
G.O.(P)No.174/2025/Coop Dated, Thiruvananthapuram, 23 rd December, 2025 08th Dhanu, 1201 S. R. O. No. 1/2026
WHEREAS, under the provision to subrule (1) of rule 183 of the Kerala Cooperative Societies Rules, 1969, a candidate for appointment by direct recruitment must have completed 18 years and must not have completed forty years of age on the 1st January of the calendar year in which the applications for appointment are invited. Provided that the upper age limit shall be raised by five
2years in the case of candidate belonging to any of the Scheduled caste/Scheduled Tribe and by three years in the case of candidate belonging to any of the Other Backward Classes;
AND WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the Trikkaipetta Service Co operative Bank Ltd No:F 7602 in Wayanad District has resolved to request the Government to exempt the said Bank from the provisions of subrule (1) of rule 183 of the Kerala Cooperative Societies Rules,1969 for the purpose of regularising the appointment of Smt. Rabiya A whose date of birth is 17th March, 1979 as Peon in the said Bank considering her service in the said Bank;
AND WHEREAS, the Registrar of Cooperative Societies has submitted the proposal to the Government to exempt the said Bank from the provisions of sub rule (1) of rule 183 of the said Rules, for the limited purpose of regularising the appointment of Smt. Rabiya A as Peon in the said Bank;
AND WHEREAS, the Government have considered the matter in detail and are satisfied that it is necessary to exempt the Trikkaipetta Service Cooperative Bank Ltd No:F 7602 in Wayanad District from the provisions of subrule (1) of rule 183 of the Kerala Cooperative Societies Rules, 1969 for the limited purpose of enabling the said Bank to regularise the appointment of Smt. Rabiya A as Peon in the said Bank ;
NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by Rule 181 of the Kerala Cooperative Societies Rules, 1969, the Government of Kerala hereby exempt the Trikkaipetta Service Cooperative Bank Ltd No:F 7602 in Wayanad District from the provisions of subrule (1) of rule 183 of the said Rules, so as to
3enable the said Bank to regularise the appointment of Smt. Rabiya A as Peon in the said Bank considering her service in the said Bank.

The Board of Directors of the Trikkaipetta Service Cooperative Bank Ltd No:F 7602 in Wayanad District has resolved to request the Government to exempt the said Bank from the provisions of subrule (1) of rule 183 of the Kerala Cooperative Societies Rules, 1969, so as to enable the said Bank to regularise the appointment of Smt.Rabiya A as Peon in the said Bank. The Government have considered the matter in detail and have decided to exempt the said Bank from the above provisions of the subrule (1) of rule 183 of the Kerala Cooperative Societies Rules, 1969, for the purpose of enabling the said Bank to regularise the appointment of Smt. Rabiya A as Peon in the said Bank considering her service in the said Bank.
The order is intended to achieve the above object.
