In exercise of the powers conferred by 2nd proviso to subsection 7 of section 19 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 (Central Act 30 of 2013), the Government of Kerala hereby extend the time limit in publishing the declaration as per sub-section 1 of section 19 to the Notification issued under sub-section (1) of section 11 as per G.O.(P)No.26/2024/RD dated 20th January 2024 and published in the Extra Ordinary Gazette No.255 dated 22nd January 2024, namely:-
2 ExtensionG.O.(P)No.26/2024/RD dated 20th January 2024 and published in the Extra Ordinary Gazette No.255 dated 22nd January 2024 has been issued in accordance with the provisions of sub-section (1) of section 11 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 with regard to the acquisition of 4.3431 Hectares of land in Thillenkeri village of Kannur district for the establishment of International Yoga Research Study Centre.
AND WHEREAS, the District Collector, Kannur has reported that as per Section 19(7) of LARR Act, 2013 mentions that the 19(1) Declaration has to be published within 12 months from the date of issuance of 11(1) Notification (preliminary notification) and that the 11(1) Notification issued as per G.O.(P)No.26/2024/RD dated 20th January 2024 and published in the Extra Ordinary Gazette No.255 dated 22nd January 2024 and extended as per G.O.(P) No.85/2025/RD dated 1st March 2025 and published in the Extra Ordinary Gazette No.1191 dated 26th March 2025 and G.O.(P) No.313/2025/RD dated 20th August 2025 and published in the Extra Ordinary Gazette No.3024 dated 21st August 2025 expires on 21/01/2026 and therefore requested to extend the time limit for publishing the 19(1) Declaration.
NOW THEREFORE, sanction is accorded to extend the time limit in publishing the Declaration for a further period of twelve months from the date of expiry of the 11(1) notification ie. 21/01/2026 by invoking the provisions contained in 2nd proviso to Section 19(7) of the LARR Act, 2013 with regard to the acquisition of 4.3431 Hectares of land in Thillenkeri village of Kannur district for the establishment of International Yoga Research Study Centre.

G.O.(P)No.26/2024/RD dated 20th January 2024 and published in the Extra Ordinary Gazette No.255 dated 22nd January 2024, has been issued in accordance with the provisions of subsection (1) of section 11 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 with regard to the acquisition of 4.3431 Hectares of land in Thillenkeri village of Kannur district for the establishment of International Yoga Research Study Centre. As per Section 19(7) of LARR Act, 2013, the 19(1) Declaration has to be published within 12 months from the date of issuance of 11(1) Notification (preliminary notification) and that the 11(1) Notification issued as per G.O.(P)No.26/2024/RD dated 20th January 2024 and published in the Extra Ordinary Gazette No.255 dated 22nd January 2024 and extended as per G.O.(P) No.85/2025/RD dated 1st March 2025 and published in the Extra Ordinary Gazette No.1191 dated 26th March 2025 and G.O.(P) No.313/2025/RD dated 20th August 2025 and published in the Extra Ordinary Gazette No.3024 dated 21st August 2025 expires on 21/01/2026 and hereby extend the time limit for publishing the 19(1) Declaration.
The notification is intended to achieve the above object.
